We liked this accommodation. Felt more traditional than some of the other ones we chose during our stay in Japan. Good bathroom and shower rooms, washer/dryer combo was great. Kids liked sleeping on the floor beds. Location is close to subways and Ueno Park and Asakusa. No blackout curtains though so bring an eye mask because it will be pretty bright in the room at night.

The host communicates very quickly and speaks Chinese and English, so there is no problem communicating.Very welcoming and proactive. 2. 5-minute walk to Keikyu Kamata Station East Exit.11 minutes to the airport, 12 minutes to Yokohama Station. 3. Within 300m, there are a total of 4 supermarkets, 2 of which are very large and one of which is open until 01:00.There is also a Life supermarket in front of Keikyu Kamata Station. 4. Washing machine and detergent are provided for daily laundry and a drying rack is provided. 5. Within a 10-minute walk from JR Kamata Station, take the JR Keihin Tohoku Line to the city, 5 minutes each trip.3 stops to Shinagawa Station in about 10 minutes.

Family of 4 - we stayed in Kentaro apartment for 5 days. Kentaro always responsive and helpful. The apartment was spacious two bedrooms. Very comfortable beds. Dining table, low couch, nice kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Nice shower room with bath and standing shower area. Excellent wifi - easy to connect to. Vending machine at the bottom of the building with nice cold and hot drinks. The location in Ueno is relatively peaceful for Tokyo - and we loved that. 15 minutes walk from Ueno and Keisei Ueno for skyliner direct to Narita. 10 minute walk from two other metro stations. 15 minute walk to Asakusa. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a great place to stay in Gotanda, not far from the station with lots of shops nearby. The flat was a nice size with plenty of amenities. Julian was a very helpful and friendly host too who was happy to help with any questions we had and allow for an easy check in.

Our family of four (kids 8 and 5) had an overall great 6 day stay in this apartment building. We appreciated having two separate bedrooms (hard to find at a Tokyo hotel) and a kitchen we could prepare coffee and breakfast on our own. Having a washing machine was also helpful! Akasaka seems like a business-y district, but it was quieter and had fewer tourists than other areas we visited, which was nice to come home too, while still having lots of grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants. The Harry Potter themed Akasaka metro station was a hit with our boys and we had an easy time getting around the city from either this station or the Akasaka Mitsuke option.

Had a lovely time at this place! Had a little apartment to ourselves and it was so accessible to the city with the two metro lines near the house. The hosts were also very responsive and proactive too! Helped us with suggestions and also booking taxis! There’s lots of good food options around too! Would definitely stay again!

The place is located in a very convenient location in Akasaka, a quick 5-10 min walk to couple different train lines that connects you to rest of Tokyo. The place is easy to find and clean as described. The owner was very quick to reply on any questions that I had. Would recommend!!

A very special and unique place for Tokyo. Great location on a charming neighborhood street with 3 stories plus a private roof deck. Brand new, I think we were the second guests ever. I'm sure this place will be booked all the time and/or go up in price ha, so I feel fortunate to have stayed here when I did. It's great for large groups or if you need separate bedrooms and separation space. Overall a great experience and a lot cheaper than two hotel rooms in the area.

This place was great for our family of four. It really fell like a glamorous 5-star hotel, but then must bigger because of the balcony, living room, kitchen, two bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. The place is very well located, close both a metro station and a train station, and tons of supermarkets and restaurants. A perfect home base for the various Tokyo activities. Absolutely nothing negative to say. We'll be back...

David was a great host and gave incredible recommendations for all the great things to do in Shinjuku! The location was perfect and tucked away so you felt the privacy but also we’re walking distance from anywhere you want to go. The room looked like the pictures and is a bit tight but does the trick. Cool rooftop helps for a nice coffee in the morning. I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you again to the host David for letting us stay here. We will be back!

Kentaro's place is conveniently located to asakusa and akihabara, a really good location to stay in. Kentaro was also really friendly and allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage at the airbnb after we checked out, which really made the experience much better
