Guesthouse vacation rentals in Tokyo

The host was very welcoming. We had breakfast and had great conversation. There was a huge party event that we were invited to which was fun. We all sung and shared amazing stories. Highly recommend!

Great location for an unbeatable price. Getting a lockable room to myself was a plus, and TV and AC were a luxury!

It was so good, the location is perfect like go everywhere for tourism only take less half hour. Hope I can stay here when I visit Tokyo next time:)

Shinbou and Paul's place was a lovely, peaceful stay! The city is quiet and a perfect city escape. The house was well appointed and the hosts were very kind people 🙂

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the secret base. It was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day in Tokyo. Not as centrally located as some more expensive places but you’ll quickly realize you don’t want to be around the hustle and bustle all day. It was still incredibly convenient with the train station being a short walk or bike ride away! Emiko and her staff were always responsive and took care of everything. There were more amenities than I have ever seen at a hotel or airbnb - I had a jacket that needed a lint roller and of course it was already there. I will say, the warnings about being near a children’s school are correct, you will hear them from about 8:30am to 5:00pm on weekdays, but that’s when you’re going to be out exploring anyway. The bathroom and shower are separate rooms you need to go outside for, and that may be a consideration if you’re staying during the winter months. However, I loved my stay so much and I will definitely be back!

It is close to the subway station. The room is very small. The front desk is very welcoming. The mattress is also very comfortable to sleep on. You can see the Skytree on the rooftop.

This place was very good and cheap!

Yuko was very communicative when we needed help checking in and extending the stay slightly. The place is not on GPS and she gave amazing detailed instructions to find it. Would come back!
