This place is great. Not many foreigners go to Kusatsu Onsen in the first place so the staff being friendly is great. The location is remote (about a 20 minute walk from town) and the walk gets old after about a day considering how many hills there are. I knew this when I booked the place, though. Kusatsu is worth it no matter the walk regardless. The only negative thing that I have to say about this place is that it's cold and I think the kerosene heater broke on night 2. Either that or we're just morons. Either way, fixing the room heaters should be a priority. This minor inonvenience was forgiven when the staff took us to the bus station in a snowstorm, saving us a long and brutal walk. Very kind of them.

Woww. This must be one of our most favorite stays in Japan! The actual place definitely looks even better than in the pictures! The two-floor apartment (a house really) is so spacious and so tastefully decorated. The house has so many glass windows that let in a lot of sunlight, a lot brighter than in the pictures! A perfect place to relax and spend a wonderful evening with friends and family especially after a full day of a skiing trip. We loved the kotatsu and the gas fan heaters. :))) We loved everything about the house really. Sayuri was wonderful host. We greatly appreciated our time at your place. Thank you so much!

ゲレンデからはシャトルバスで行き来しやすく新築のため部屋もとても綺麗でした。オーナーの方からの連絡はとても早く親切でわかりやすかったです。

事前の案内も丁寧でしたが、滞在後に直接説明してくださり、安心して快適に利用することができました。 また伺いたいと思います。

川が目の前で、大自然を満喫しながらBBQを楽しむ事ができました。 日本家屋の風情がありつつもお部屋の中はリフォームされているのか新築のように綺麗でした。 布団も厚みがあり寝心地が良かったです。 近くの道の駅が色々売ってたりしてとても楽しかったです。 広くて綺麗で読書や温泉を楽しみながらリラックスする事ができて、是非また利用したいと思います！ありがとうございました！

This house was very spacious with plenty of seating and bedding. We wished we could have stayed longer! Heads up: The g maps directions from Naoetsu Station were a little tricky the first time - don’t take the shortest route. Take the second shortest route.

周囲に他の家がなく、本当に誰にも気兼ねせずのんびりできました！ ツリーハウスの存在には驚きました。ツリーハウスで朝ごはんをたべたりお茶したりと心地よく過ごせました。 ぜひまたお伺いしたいです。

Very nice home, konbini and grocery store right next to the unit. Host had very clear instructions and unit was easy to find.

Our stay in this beautifully designed Airbnb was fantastic. The attention to detail, especially the stunning doors, made the space feel warm and welcoming. The house was easy to heat, though the kerosene smell took a bit of getting used to. A car is definitely recommended. While centrally located, it’s about a 3 km walk to the Akakura restaurant area. Driving made accessing the slopes and dining spots much easier. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm, ensuring great sleep. The small kitchen was well-equipped—we made noodle stir-frys, salmon poke bowls, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with ease. Overall, this was a super comfortable stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myoko Kogen. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

用途: 長野市中心の2日間の旅行の宿泊先 利用人数: 男性4人 レビュー ・チェックイン: 本来はホストの方が事前にいて、説明をしてくださるかと思いますが、お伝えした時間より少し早く到着してしまいました。カメラ付き?インターホンで連絡を取りました。先に鍵の開け方など丁寧に教えていただきました。インターホンは少しラグがある感じでしたが、問題はなかったです。少しすると、予定の時間になりホストの方が来て、施設案内していただけます。とても気さくな方でした！ ・BBQを裏庭みたいな所でしました。自前で素材やら道具やらを持ってきました。ホストの方に道具の用意をしてもらい、後片付けしてもらう場合には課金が必要ですが、自前で準備後片付けをする感じだと特に課金は必要とせずすることが出来ました。山の中なので、当然ですが食料等は用意していくことがポイントです。気を遣って頂き、消火用の水とバケツの用意をホストの方がしてくれました。 ・寝具: ベッド1つと、布団と毛布と枕のセットが何式かありました。施設は2階建てなのですが、ベッドのある部屋は1階にあり、そこには布団は2,3敷けるかなという感じです。それ以上とかの場合は、2階にそれを自分で持っていきました。そんなに重くないので、階段を気をつけながら運べるといいと思います。清潔感があって良かったです！ ・雑貨類: 食器類はほとんど揃っていました。UNO、トランプ、人狼などのカードゲームが揃っていました。シンクも広々としていて、使いやすかったです。タオルは人数分ありましたし、洗濯機もありました。1泊だったのでジェルボールが1つ付いていました。ハトムギの化粧水、洗顔、歯ブラシセット、ヘアドライヤー, ヘアアイロン(SALONIA)がありました。食事を除いた面では、衣類だけ持っていっても大丈夫な感じでした。 ・トイレ: 清潔感のあるウォッシュレットタイプでした。 ・お風呂: ガスタイプですが、操作パネルがあり、そこで温度操作する感じです。私は特に問題ありませんでしたが、使い慣れていない人はホストの方に聞いてみてもいいかもしれません。 ・環境: 9月中旬に利用しましたが、山の中は冷涼な空気で夜間気温は17℃とかでした。エアコンは付いていませんが、暖房器具が設置されていました。扇風機はありました。時期によるが、羽織るものを用意してもいいかもしれません。

Amazing idyllic, off the beaten track place. Quintessentially Japanese and lots of space. Recommend a car if you’re staying here. Amazing temple in this area too.

かなり雪深くなっていたので見つけられるか不安でしたが、 ライトや矢印などで分かりやすく表示されていて助かりました。 りんご、白菜、長ネギ、カップ麺などいろいろとご用意頂きました。 お部屋も広く綺麗でもっと滞在したかったです！ 体が冷え切っていたのでバスタブがあるとよかったのですが、ないとわかり、車で10分ほどの場所にある温泉に入ってきました。 また来ます！

非常に清潔で設備もしっかりしており快適に過ごすことができました。　人里離れた場所にあるため、騒音等を気にしないで良いところもよかったです。 冬場はロッジに続く道が細く坂道になっているため、2WDの車ではスタックしてしまいます。必ず4WDで行くことをおすすめします。

とても快適に過ごせました！ また利用させて頂きたいです。

From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The kitchen/ living space was fantastic!! Also the bath! Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

Wir kamen an einem regnerischen, kalten Abend bei der Unterkunft an. Es stehen diverse Heizkörper zur Verfügung, welche das Haus schnell wärmen und angenehm machen. In der grossen Badewanne kann man sich wunderbar von einer anstrengenden Wanderung oder vom kalten Regenwetter erholen und entspannen. Wir waren nur zwei Nächte zu Gast, haben unseren Aufenthalt jedoch sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tani House. The host welcomed us personally and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was always available if we had additional questions or requests. As for the house, although it is an old traditional house, the beautiful renovation makes it so it is very comfortable and offers any facility you may need. It was a joy to spend time in the house and its design. A plus was the river that was perfect for swimming and only a 3 minute walk. It is perfect for exploring both the Yuzawa and the Tokamachi area. Highly recommend staying here.
