Vacation rentals with breakfast in Tokamachi

Really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful location in the forests of Nagano. The host has been fantastic. I highly recommend!

They were kind enough to accommodate me even though I had a sudden reservation and a late check-in. They told us in detail where there are recommended restaurants and hot spring dog runs in the surrounding area, and it was very helpful for us who didn't know what was at all. He also explained how to use the room in detail, and was friendly and gave me peace of mind.The interior and toilet were clean. Surrounded by nature, I was healed by the beautiful air and the sound of birds chirping. The big dog was friendly and very cute. Thanks to you, I was able to refresh my first consecutive holiday in a long time. We'd love to visit again if we get the chance.

The room was clean and spacious, and the washroom was comfortable.During the autumn leaves, it was cold in the mornings and evenings, but the room was warm with heating, so it was good.Thanks also for the recommendations of the neighborhood.

I stayed with a super large dog, but because the host has the same breed, I knew how to deal with large dogs, and they responded accurately during the day and when I went to bed, and as a result I had no problem enjoying it.

It was every day that I forgot about the noise of the city in a very beautiful forest.There are a lot of places to go around, but it will be a luxurious time to be in the house.My two toy poodles were initially puzzled by Pyrenees Ku-chan, but were healed by the gentle Ku-chan.Best of all, I was soothing.I don't want to leave.I'm going again!

I have to say that this is the highlight of this trip in Japan. Mitsuru san friendly welcomed me even I arrived early in the morning. He introduced his house and how he enjoyed his life living in country side. After some discussion, we decided to go somewhere deep inside the mountain that foregine travellers could hardly found. We had a delicious lunch and went to take a bath in an onsen that a solo traveller relying on pulic transport like me can never reach. What really inspires me is our conversation during the drive in his car which was so fruitful and informative （ I can only speak poor Japanese, but Mitsuru san would listen and gradually explain to me by his fluent English), which helps me to understand more in local life and culture. I have to express my deepest gratitude to Mitsue san（Mitsuru san's wife) for making a fascinating dinner using local food for me. I would greatly recommend here to travellers seeking for a closer experience in Japan countryside lifestyle !

Yumi and Brad have turned a tired hotel into a great little place that offers Western style service while maintaining the charm of small mountain village family inn. Room was Japanese style with a big queen size bed. Could easily sleep 5 people making the value very good. Breakfast was simple but filling. Great little bar downstairs with live music 3 nights a week. The best part of Yumi's place is the location. Right smack in the center of town. Not a lot to do, but it's a great place for a few days. Oh. And the skiing is world class! Just a short walk to the people mover and the hill is yours. Hit the hot spring baths around town after a ski and you will know why Japan is so magical! I'll be back!

Yoshi and Seongmi were so friendly and had great recommendations for the area. The room was really comfy and we had everything we needed for our stay.

A place where you can slow down…the space was warm, cozy, clean and friendly . The area was small and yet vast with mountains all around and apple orchards for days. This place makes you feel alive and yet so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for the stay and all the wealth of knowledge and care for making my stay feel like home :) I will be back again :) and recommend to those who want to slow down :)

I can’t imagine how my ski trip would be if I didn’t stay at their place

This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.

Our stay at Abiya was very pleasant. We have met people from around the world, even a couple from Belgium where I have profound youth memories. Yoshi and Seongmin are excellent hosts who treated guests like family and looking constantly at our well being. It is definitely the place I will go back. Thanks Yoshi and Seongmin again and take care!
