Guesthouse vacation rentals in Toggenburg District

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Häuschen an der Sitter. Es ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Die Lage ist idyllisch. Die Kommunikation mit Claudia war stets unkompliziert und freundlich.

Gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Häuschen. Unkomplizierte, herzliche Gastgeberin. Im Häuschen und auch draussen hat es Alles was man benötigt. Es ist eine ruhige, herrliche Umgebung auf dem Lande. Mit vielen Tieren dort, die ganz unterschiedlich sind, interessant. Ich habe es sehr genossen und komme gerne wieder. Ein Auto zu haben ist von Vorteil, da es doch etwas ausserhalb von Herisau liegt. Es hat jedoch eine Busverbindung. Auf jeden Fall ist es wunderbar, vor allem wenn man das Landleben, die gute Luft, die schöne Aussicht und die Ruhe liebt.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Urlaubstage über Silvester bei Yannic und Rahel. Ihr hattet tolle Ausflugstips für uns und eure Gastfreundschaft schätzen wir sehr! Besonders toll für unsere Große war natürlich der Stall mit den vielen Kälbchen und das absolute Highlight für die ganze Familie der Hotpot im Schnee. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :)

I had a truly wonderful overnight stay! First, I was greeted by a personalized welcome sign, which I really appreciated. (As a solo traveler, away from my friends and family, small touches like that mean a lot to me). Second, I can't say enough about the space. Clean, and very well lit with large sunlight windows in the bedroom, and large windows on both ends. The bathroom is nice enough, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with everything you might need. But the star of the show is truly the wood-burning stove. I hadn't seen one since I was a teenager, growing up in the Midwest of the United States. Suffice to say, it brought back a lot of fond memories. I spent the evening with a fire going, reading a book, and slowly pushing my chair back from the warmth of the stove. Good location - about a 10 min. walk from the Schwendi bei Heiden tramway stop, and located along a well-marked hiking path. Bottom line: I can't get back here soon enough!

It was a pleasure being guest at this wonderful place with a professional host! Everything was just like on the photos. Very comfortable, warm, clean and cozy place. Easy-going communication with the host. 100% recommended!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans le AirBnb de Heidi. Je le recommande sans hésiter. C'était parfait. En un mot, je me suis senti comme à la maison ! Un grand MERCI à Heidi et sa famille pour leur chaleureux accueil et toutes les petites attentions. Je n'oublierai pas mon séjour en Suisse à Hittnau :-) L'endroit est très reposant. Parfait pour se balader et se ressourcer.

We loved this place, but there is a lot you should know. The best thing about it was the people. Jasmin called various places for us to ask if they were open. They also built a fire for us several times. The second best thing is the food. Want eggs laid by hens you can see? Want pumpkin soup that is restaurant quality in taste and presentation? This place might be for you. But…they tell you that the bathroom and shower are in the main house. Fair enough. But there is not even a sink in the cottage itself. So, you can go to the back door of the main house and use the toilet, but there is still no sink. You can wash your hands in a faucet on the outside of the house, but there is only cold water. To shower, you go around to the front of the house, in the front door, in the second front door, down the hall, up the stairs and now you can go into the shower room, where there is a nice shower with hot water, by still no sink with anything but cold water. It’s an adventure.

Antoinette was really helpful since the moment we did the reservation. She was flexible with the check-in as we arrived early in the evening. She was fast with the communication, and made things easy. As a cherry on the top, she provided some recommendations for the area. Also, the house had some nice pieces of art made by herself. The house is a few minutes walk from the center of St. Gallen in a really quiet area. Without a doubt I will stay over again if I go to St. Gallen.

Richard's apartment is very comfortable, newly furnished, well equipped and in quiet area. That together with the price makes it five star spot on Swiss map.
