Monthly Rentals in Togari

If you are working on your Tassie itinerary, don’t be fooled by the size of the Arthur River hamlet, for nature lovers and beach combers it’s a superb destination . The property has a prime position with a spectacular outlook. The icing on the cake is that a variety of wildlife including wombats passes right outside the door. My only regret is I booked for 3 nights, I should have booked 6 nights and really wound down.

Three couples and one single stayed at the Stone House for 3 nights. With the slow combustion wood heater and plenty of wood the house was very cosy. We each had delightful bedrooms, sufficient privacy, good laundry, great family area and well-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom in the adjacent 2 bedroom bungalow was quite adequate for wheelchair use, which we required. The power went out one night due to weather conditions and there were candles, matches etc to make life easy. Frances kept us quite well informed with local knowledge. The nearby Marrawah Inn has great meals.

When we first walked into Simon's place we thought it was the first time the home had ever been rented! Everything was absolutely spotless and in brand new condition! The house had everything we needed; and more. The hosts go through much trouble to make sure their guests feel welcome and have more than everything they could need. The location was beautiful; overlooking the fields, beach, and coastline. It was peaceful and quiet with beach access just down the road. We had fun using the guidebook the hosts provided to tour the surrounding towns, the west coast, and the Tarkine Wilderness. We even got to see the penguins in Stanley! Many amenities were provided, including a fully stocked kitchen, wi-fi TV, and even a stocked pantry which we appreciated greatly given the remoteness of the location. It is far more beautiful in person. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

Sanibonani cottage was awesome! We used it as our base to explore the northwest, and Despina was a fantastic host, always keeping us in the loop. The cottage had everything, was spotless, and the Smithton views were gorgeous.
