The apartment is spacious and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Despite it being large, it has a cosy feeling like you would be at home. It is also dog friendly. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. Like out of a movie. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Really recommend this place to anyone who is considering it! 10/10

We (mother, adult daughter and dog) had a very nice week in the apartment. Practically divided with everything you need, so that we could also prepare hot food. Bernau is beautifully located in the middle of the southern Black Forest and is a small, still quite original village. No large hotel buildings, but bakers with cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, tourist office and small shop. We didn't hear anything from the street in front of the house, because the apartment is at the back, with a beautiful view from the balcony into the Bernauer Hochtal. We would definitely want to stay here again if we go to the Black Forest again.

Super uncomplicated and familiar. Location great! Great restaurant. Room really very clean. The place is much bigger than it seems in the pictures. Good shopping can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Good starting point for hikes, in the middle of the nature reserve. Clear recommendation!

Excellent location with many activities for family with kids..ideal for trekking..apartment was fantastic with all amenities.. instruction were clear...we had a nice stay over there.. thanks for Dirk and Sven..

Very nice and well-equipped apartment, parking right around the corner. We were there with 2 toddlers and everything we needed was available. Very positive rarity for a vacation apartment were the top sharpened high-quality kitchen knives as part of the kitchen equipment. Beautiful location in the village, good starting point for tours. Very friendly and reliable communication with the host.

Doris and Jürgen are perfect hosts! In addition to a warm, uncomplicated welcome, we were welcomed with a well-stocked fridge and wonderful suggestions for our vacation in the pleasantly bright, tastefully furnished and excellently equipped apartment. What a joy to be smiled at from every window of the Black Forest. With the nearby public transport, we were able to relax to the Nordic Center Notschrei for winter sports, enjoy fantastic huts and alpine panorama as well as explore the university town of Freiburg. During our stay we experienced Carnival with traditional jesters in classic but also modern costumes, who very successfully banished the winter. Culinary, I was delighted by the small weekly market, a few steps away, the nice Alsatian stands with excellent cheese and much more. It was an all-round successful vacation, thank you very much dear Doris & Jürgen!

Great place to stay, even with small children. Great communication with Florian, Ulrike and the nice lady who lovingly takes care of the house, laundry, etc. Great location for many excursions! The bread roll delivery service from the local baker completes the stay!

Very nice place. Private Apartment in a bigger complex which provided full privacy in a great environment. Our stay was great, the information received a few days before the rental was very detailed and made the checking very easy. The hosts are friendly and available for any questions and open to suggestions.

A beautiful apartment right in the heart of the Black Forest! ❤️-you will be welcomed with two delicious fir fishes and a bottle of water. The kitchen also leaves nothing to be desired,everything you need. Even the Starbucks capsules for the Nespresso machine;) The sauna is the absolute hammer and lets you relax after a long hike. Also mega pleasant,the rain shower and all the small "gifts" in the form of cream and soaps that are in the completely new and modern bathroom. Radiator with boost function,so that the towel is also plumply warm after showering. There you can only fall into the king-size bed super relaxed and fall asleep in front of the huge TV. We highly recommend this place; we especially enjoyed the quiet location and nature. The apartment is very spacious and lovingly furnished. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and from the balcony, where we ate every day, you have a great view.

The Walgdgeflüster is a beautiful apartment, we felt really comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and regional decor – super cozy and it really has everything you need. The small attentions to the welcome, the comfortable box spring bed and the wonderful seating area overlooking the forest were real highlights. Perfect for switching off and enjoying! The check-in was totally uncomplicated and the hostess very warm. We can highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

A wonderful and clean vacation home and you feel right at home. A beautiful view of Switzerland and the beautifully landscaped gardens all around. The rest there is very relaxing. We had a great time at this Airbnb. The accommodation is clean, well-appointed and above all very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Special mention to the baths, which are a real plus to relax after a busy day! Maxime is very kind and welcoming, he made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.
