Pool, jacuzzi and cinema room

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.
The indoor heated pool area is shown, featuring a clear blue pool bordered by a tiled edge. Skylights above allow natural light to fill the space, enhancing the warm wooden ceiling. A small inflatable in the pool and a sitting area with rattan furniture is visible.

Grove Farm Cottage

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.
Two spacious stone cottages are positioned beside each other, surrounded by well-maintained gardens. A gravel pathway leads to the entrance, framed by lush greenery and blooming flowers, while ample parking is visible to the side of the cottages.

Swallows

YousafRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Highly recommend a 2 night stay here. There is so was much to do and it was so enjoyable - we had a group of 10 people ranging from 30 to 1 year old and we all had so much fun! From swimming all day to playing on the football pitch and tennis court - it was truly never ending fun especially for the kids. The cottage was lovely, very nice and clean and everything needed was already there. It is abit far from local shops so definitely something to keep in mind but other than that it was a great stay. Host is very helpful!

The Keep @ Castlegate - Cragg vale, Hebden Bridge

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The property is nestled in a stunning location with breathtaking views. Waking up to the surrounding natural beauty each morning was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. There are excellent walks right on your doorstep, allowing you to explore the beautiful scenery and unwind in the tranquility of the area. The local town is lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or a meal after a day of exploring the area. Kelly, the host, was incredible. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, offering great tips and being informative about the local area. The little treats she left for us upon arrival were such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more special. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would 100% recommend.

Warley Wood Annex - Moths Den

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed six weeks, late April through early June. The house was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the home and rural but close to everything location. We decided to use bus and train passes with the occasional taxi and saw so much more than renting a car as we have in the past. We walked up the hill everyday to the house from the main road and at 70 years old we had no problems, it was good exercise before bed each evening. Susan and her husband Mark were perfect hosts, we saw them often and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our best recommendation for this home is "We will stay again." At different times we walked all the local canals from Todmorden to Brighouse in sections, visited dozens of local villages and took the train to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, the airport and even down to London and Kent. Our bus passes also allowed us to roam all over Yorkshire.

17th Century Cottage in the Heart of the Pennines

LucyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Michelle's place was beautifully kept and thoughtfully designed, full of historic quirks and features. The facilities are great and there were some very generous extras provided, as well as all of the usual basics. She communicated very clearly before and throughout our stay, including very useful local tips. The location was great for a wander into Todmorden, including the local Aldi, as well as the train station, which we used for a little trip into Hebden Bridge. The only word of caution would be around the location of the place and/or the spiral staircase for the attic bedroom. They are part of what gives the location/house character but they may be tricky for some. Overall, I'd heartily recommend Michelle's place for anyone wanting to explore this area of Yorkshire.

Little house in Hebden Bridge

Mian BondRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place is sweet, inviting, and right in the heart of town, while remaining quiet. Such a great location for all things Hebden Bridge and the AirBnB reflects that in its local furnishings, which are so thoughtful and lovely. Renata & Tony went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised to find provisions provided, something we had never experienced in our travels. Very generous! The house is exceptional in its comforts: plenty of heat, fresh air, cosy bedding, lovely bath (with both a tub and shower). The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has all the amenities needed. And a parking pass is provided, if you're driving!! Renata & Tony were available for questions and recommendations. If you're looking for all the comforts of home in a great part of England, this is it!! p.s. We had the great good fortune of meeting Renata (and their sweet dog Howie) in person and conversing with her. She is simply lovely. What a pleasure!!

Almost too much communication beforehand and all felt automated rather than personal. Be aware that the internal stairs are steep. All very clean but decor rather dated, though I gather that is quite typical for Hebden.

Kindness Cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We’ve had an amazing time at Ashley’s cottage! The location is excellent; just a few steps away from the most beautiful forest we’ve been to. Oud dog loved the walks! The riverwalk to town was also great, but more of a climb than anticipated haha. The cottage has rustic wooden floors, a cosy fireplace, a very funky well equipped kitchen with a lovely welkom basket. The marmalade was excellent as well as the prosecco! ! Penash were very responsive and helpful, again thanks for bringing the drying rack! The garden was mature, but a bit of a climb to get to. Thanks so much for everything!

Modern Luxury Cottage based in Holmfirth

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint little cottage. It was very clean, well equipped and true to the photos on Airbnb. Ben was very prompt when we had a small issue and very quickly sorted the issue. Lots of lovely walks nearby and easy access to the Peak District. We found a lovely restaurant a 15 minute walk away called Finlay’s - cannot recommend enough. Convenience store literally 2 mins away and Holmfirth a short drive or within walking distance.

Heather Cottage On't Cobbles

SharonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

Shibden Cottage Godley Gardens

MaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Brilliant cottage to stay in! Perfect spot to explore the local area, we walked back from next level restaurant in Halifax but had taken the bus into the center. Great close by sights to see and explore, such a good spot for Shibden Park literally around the corner from the cottage. Couldn’t fault the cottage at all! Extremely well kept, set up and Nicole was on hand super quick with any queries and recommendations. Just a shame that we could stay and explore for longer! We stayed as a family of four (6yrs+8yrs) great as a base for Eureka. Thanks again for a great stay
