Highland loch-side, 2 bed house with amazing view.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation - exposed stonework and wood. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Shared outdoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Sat, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

Just a short walk to lovely Loch Leven and the village's shops, pub and eating places. Explore magical paths, trails and waterfalls as well as higher routes directly from the cottage. No need to drive. On National Cycling Route 78 and local routes for all abilities. Ballachulish is well-positioned for days out around the area and further afield.

Red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer - with fawn at foot are regular visitors at present. Parking on site is spacious. There is so much to do in the Oban area, ferries, castles, whales, dolphins, puffins, walking, beaches, watching .....great food - exceptional sea food and the oldest distillery in Scotland, wonderful whisky - what more can you ask?
