Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Departamento muy lindo, tal cual aparecía en las fotos, muy bien ubicado, muchas cafeterías en las calles aledañas, la cama muy rica para dormir. Muy céntrico, rápido llegamos al centro. Mis mascotas pudieron estar con nosotros. Hay estacionamiento, sólo hay que coordinarse con los demás inquilinos.

Jorge estuvo al pendiente de mi llegada por mensaje y me dio instrucciones muy claras para llegar bien. Ya en la casa su hermano Fernando fue quién nos atendió, super amable, atento y muy al pendiente de los mensajes que llegué a mandarle. También nos dio recomendaciones de en dónde comer y cómo difrutar nuestra estancia. Lo que fue fantástico es que las fotos correspondían a la casa, todo muy cuidado, y además cada cuarto contaba con Smart TV, ventilador de techo y enfriador de pie, así que en la casa no sufrimos de calor. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en Casa Roche.

Oliver was a great host. It was reachable and always responsive to any query or communication. The place is centric and surrounded by convenience stores.

A great place to stay, close to the Airport. My dog and I arrived shortly after sundown and enjoyed a clean, safe and peaceful spot to rest and cleanup prior to our trip to the beach the next day. I’d stay here again. I enjoyed the internet, and coffee in the morning and how clean everything was. Our host was pleasant and easy to communicate with.

The house it’s beautiful, modern and well maintained. The terrace and the views are wonderful. We had a problem with the water but was taken cared of quickly. The only drawback we found was the steep road going to the property and the dogs barking at night .

La casa está hermosa! Tiene un estilo Oaxaqueño muy lindo. Esta cómoda, limpia, muy bien ubicada y perfecta para 8 personas, los baños son limpios y modernos. La alberca está cómoda para tomar unos drink y a muy buena temperatura. Perfectamente equipadas! Sin duda reservaría otra vez

We had a great time staying at Aaloja’s Airbnb! The apartment was easy to find and felt very secure. The host was incredibly responsive. No matter what time of day or night they responded within 10 minutes. As a few other reviews mentioned, there was some noise but we never felt that it was unreasonable for a busy city with a lot of nightlife. Overall a great experience!

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

We loved our stay in Oaxaca!! Created great memories with friends and Damian's place is so unique and exactly what we were looking for. Drinks on the rooftop, breakfast in the outdoor kitchen, yet still private bedrooms for sleeping. It may "look" outside of Centro on a map, but it is literally a 5-10 minute easy walk to everything. We only used a vehicle to get back to the airport! Walked everywhere else!

Lovely home with a nice courtyard and pool. Quiet neighborhood. Although not within walking distance to Centro Historico, there are buses nearby and cabs as well. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Tule. Adella was an incredibly generous and gracious host, answering all questions immediately and giving us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. The house is beautifully decorated and cared for. We were treated like welcome guests more than like renters. We loved Tule and Oaxaca was 20 minutes away and an incredibly magical city.

The apartment is just like the photos. Artsy, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and most strikingly, an incredible view. The apartment is a bit removed from the center of town (about 20 mins walking to santo domingo, for example, and you get your exercise walking up the hill), but this is compensated but the wonderful terrace with panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, not to mention that it's much quieter here than it is in the center of town. Yolanda is a wonderful and responsive host. Weekly cleaning included free of charge. Highly recommend!

This is a very cool and peaceful space in the heart of Oaxaca. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from all the best cafés, restaurants, galleries, and the Sánchez Pascuas market, yet quiet and calm at night for restful sleep. Jude is a fantastic host and full of thoughtful recommendations that made our stay even more special. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook meals (including multiple coffee-making options). The WiFi was fast and reliable for work and video calls, and the little details — like a welcome bottle of mezcal and high-quality linens — made us feel instantly at home. This is one of those places you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommended.

Claude fue muy amable, flexible y nos encantó su VW clásico! El bungalow muy ordenado, con las comodidades necesarias, una cama súper cómoda que nos la queríamos llevar y un jardín enorme para que nuestro perrito pueda correr y merodear. La pasamos muy relajados y tranquilos. Me gustaría volver cuando todo este más verde. Muchas gracias por todo Claude!

Alejandro ha sido uno de los mejores anfitriones que he tenido! Fue muy amigable durante toda la estancia. La ubicación es perfecta porque está junto a Chedraui y tiene muchas cosas a menos de 5 minutos como paquetería, restaurantes, farmacias, etc El alojamiento está bien equipado y todo en perfecto estado. No tuve ningún problema con agua caliente. La señora de limpieza también fue bastante amigable

Excelente estancia, muy ordenado y limpio, el acceso en auto es fabuloso y con ubicación buena para salir a conocer otros puntos del estado. Definitivamente regresaremos pronto!

Fueron muy amables, muy cómodo el loft y queda bien resguardado el auto. Estuvimos muy agusto.

Kenia is the highlight of this stay, she is such a kind and nurturing person with so much warmth and hospitality to offer. It's so nice to stay with a Oaxaqueña and to spend time in her family home, with local art, her grandmother's stove, plants, locally crafted plates and bowls. So much has been thought of. The apartment is comfortable, private and quiet despite being on a busy main road. There is aircon and filtered water from the tap, both luxuries we've come to treasure in Mexico! Kenia's place is located about a 30 minute walk into the centro, it can sometimes feel long in the heat of the day but we used it as an opportunity to get our steps up (!). There is a bus that stops very close to the house but we didn't end up using it. Conveniently there is a Chedurai about 3 mins down the road. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Kenia!

Un lugar tranquilo, agradable y lleno de detalles que te hacen sentir en casa. La cultura Oaxaqueña representada en un hermoso apartamento, cómodo, limpio en el colorido barrio de Jalatlaco. Cerca del centro de Oaxaca y rodeado de muchos cafés y restaurantes. Definitivamente una agradable estadía.
