Cabin vacation rentals in Tjörn Municipality

We traveled by train and bus only and Erica and James' place is quite walking distance. Bikes are very convenient and the area is very well served by bus. We had a great stay of several nights with Erica and James, two very discreet, available and attentive people. The hot tub was very nice! We'll be back with pleasure if the opportunity arises, thank you!

Cozy place! Great views and views from the house and terrace. Large oak with swing on the terrace, was appreciated by the children in the company. Walking distance to Småholmarna, great sea bathing. Afternoon and evening sun on the terrace for dinner. Peaceful place!

We were looking for a spot to spend some relaxing days during a road trip through Scandinavia and with Johan we found exactly what we are looking for! The hut is simple, but complete. The highlight of our stay was, of course, the jacuzzi, which was ready to use and squeaky-clean. The mixture of cold air, hot water and the silence around makes us desire to come back. :) The location is (apart of Johan's own house) really remote and private, but by car it is only a 8min ride to get to a large supermarket to get everything you will need, or 30-45min to Göteborg, if you want to peek into a more vibrant area. Whenever it takes us back to Sweden, we will certainly make a, probably extended, break again at Johan's place. Thanks for having us!

We had a very nice stay in Ulrika's nice cottage! The view and the terrace are a dream! The area is also beautiful. In addition to the cottage, the small annex also has a fantastic view of the sea. Communication with Ulrika was very nice and straightforward. We were even surprised on arrival with a small surprise and a decorated Christmas tree. Thank you for that! We really enjoyed the stay!

We had a fantastic few days in Sören's nice cottage. The location is beautiful. On the walk to the sea we have seen all kinds of animals (ferret, marter and deer) and catching the crabbing was fun for young and old. Taking the boat to Dyron for walking is an absolute tip. We would love to come back to this beautiful piece of Sweden.

We stayed a week in the small but fine cabin. Two adults and one dog can find a wonderful place there. We especially liked quiet nature and the beautiful surroundings. With my sup I was on the water for hours in good weather, just great! One day we borrowed Marie's kayak, which worked great. Overall, of course, rather a small house, but with a lot of charm and everything you need!

We had such a great time in Malin's cabin, and out and about. We enjoyed the things that others have mentioned - the great vibe, the music, views, canoes - and I especially loved the apricot sink and toilet. What I really enjoyed was the sense of place, that it was somewhere important to the people who owned it and that was evident everywhere. We did some nice things locally. Crossing over on the ferry at Marstrand and then walking all around the island on a sunny day was a real highlight. Just beautiful and we enjoyed swimming from the rocks with boats sailing past. Further afield the sculpture park at Pilane is great, for the art and for the views. We went to Gothenburg several times. It is worth the 50 minute drive. We went to the Botanic Gardens, the Museum of Art and also the most lovely and very reasonable spa - Hagabadet (they have a two for one offer). We also had an evening at the opera. Would very much like to visit this lovely place again.

The house, a beautiful little wooden house, is located in the middle of the forest. From the large, bright windows you can observe nature. Nothing obstructs the view. The furnishings are tasteful and functional. The terrace in front of the house invites you to just sit and enjoy the tranquility. Directly behind the house you can start a hike in the forest or drive a few minutes by car. There are some worthwhile excursion destinations in the area that are also suitable for families with younger children. However, the focus is always on exploring nature on foot. Various bathing places by the sea can also be reached after a short drive. In addition, Gothenburg is only a half hour drive away. We had a wonderful vacation in a beautiful house in beautiful surroundings.

Such a cozy cabin ! For being a little cabin, it feels so airy and open ! Very bright and cozy. We did not use the two small bedrooms but enjoyed the large room that has a kitchen, double bed and sofa ! <3 An absolutely gorgeous view. What you can keep in mind is that the ceiling is quite low, and that the shower is in the smallest team ! My husband and I are around 170-174 and had a little trouble showering. Nice neighbors who we met on dog walks. All in all a wonderful cottage with home feeling !

Nice and comfortable cottage in a quiet area near the sea. The cottage has all the necessary amenities. Short walk to a beach. Close to Marstrand and Gothenburg.

This place was absolutely perfect ♡ Just what we were looking for. Quiet little space tucked away from the distractions of busy towns and cities. The sunsets were insane. Our hosts incredible. Great place if your looking for a quite get away. Especially great if you want to get to know your local host family. We couldn't have asked for a better Swedish holiday. Thanks again Wilma! We hope to be back again one day.

David's cottage was perfect for a couple's peaceful weekend. Timmervik beaches were nearby and the cottage was in a private location. The cottage was small, but we found everything we needed.

We were 4 adults who had some good days, with hiking trips and excursions on Tjörn and Orust. The house is as described and easy to find. Nice and easy communication with Kristina. Can only be recommended.

We had a very nice week at the house. Amazing kitchen and a large terrace with great views over the sea. We were a total of 9 people 4 adults and 5 children between the ages of 1 and 8. The kids really liked all the berries that were in the garden as well as the "gymnasium" upstairs.

Such a cozy little screened house where the kids could be out without worrying about escaping. Large rooms, yes we were very happy and would stay there again :) Camilla and her mother took great care of us in both communication and check-in!

The house has a fantastic location with its own jetty. Even in bad weather, you can enjoy the views from inside. The kitchen is simple.
