How about resting at the Fortress, overlooking the city, close to everything you need? Haldenhytta has a charm you discover as soon as you see the place at the top of the cobblestone hill. Here the hiking areas at the Fortress meet the old town center. The host lives here partially himself, so some private things will be visible. It is possible to rent rooms for a cheaper price if guests want to stay here while the host is at home. The house in the lush garden is located on the pilgrim's trail. Hikers with pilgrim passes are asked to state this.

Hiking areas and parks in the immediate vicinity and walking distance to the city center with shops, cultural offerings, and dining places. New Halden Arena is only 300 m from the house, while the cinema, library, Busterudparken and the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants are 500 m from the house. The south side with train station, guest harbor, restaurants and Brygga cultural hall is about 15-20 minutes on foot.

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

This is a place to just be, enjoy the silence and the bustling bird life and the fresh air. Here there are great opportunities to see the forest's animals and birds. Primus camping kitchen. Spacious outhouse with washing water drum. Solar lighting, mobile coverage, no wifi. Cleaning is included.

The sauna is in the side building. The cabin has WiFi.
