We are renting our guest cottage in the scenic Timmervik, located in a rural setting about 45 km (28 miles) north of Gothenburg and just over 10 km (6 miles) from Stenungsund. The nearest community is Jörlanda (about 4 km away), and you need your own car to get to and from the cottage. The cottage has a separate bedroom for two, a shower/toilet with a washing machine, and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, where there is sleeping space for an additional 1–2 people on a sofa bed (140 cm wide). The village's swimming area and boat docks at Hakefjorden are within walking distance (about 900 meters).

Welcome to Timmervik! A gem 45 km north of Gothenburg, with the sea and the forest as a neighbor. Jörlanda is the nearest community (3 km) and it is 20 minutes by car to Kongahälla shopping center in Kungälv or Stenungsund. Swimming within a 10-minute walk. The house has 4 +1 beds and is fully equipped for short to slightly longer stays. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, combi oven with microwave, stove. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the adjacent terrace there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill. Parking next to the house.

Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

My place is right on the beach in the middle of nature. Close to Alingsås, Hindås, Landvetter airport, Gothenburg, Borås. You'll love my place because of the lakeside and nature location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The cottage is about 30 square meters and the associated sauna cottage with shower, toilet and laundry is about 15 square meters. Free access to canoe for tenants. Good opportunities for fishing, motorboat available to rent!

The bathroom is equipped with shower, sink, toilet and washer/dryer. The loft has two 90 cm mattresses. Nice patio with the possibility of relaxation and barbecue.
