Vacation rentals in Thurnham

We've just had a lovely few days at Rebecca's caravan - and what a well -kept & homely place it is too. It really has everything you could need. My daughter was pleased to see the toybox and books available. While I loved the decking in the sun! Rebecca made checking in very easy and the hamper of treats was such a nice touch. We like how easy this park is to get to by train. The holiday park is peaceful this time of year, has a nice playground/outdoor space to eat and is right on the beachfront, we'd ideally go back nearer summer when the outdoor pool is open and there's a bit more entertainment on. We enjoyed some day trips to nearby Whitstable & Herne bay too. Thanks so much Rebecca! x

A very well appointed and comfortable house. A great place to stay for our annual weekend away with our children and grandchildren. With a one minute walk to a couple of ‘free to use’ tennis courts and a five minute walk to the beach, the youngsters were very happy. The five minute walk to the local Westgate-on-Sea shops and restaurants was very convenient and Margate itself was lovely.

What an absolutely beautiful apartment which was actually better in “real life” than the pictures. The furniture and fittings were of great quality, lovely condition and obviously very well looked after. Literally on the sea front, the views were fantastic. The whole apartment was immaculately clean. Simply put, I can’t believe we got this apartment for the price we did. Feeling very lucky and can’t wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Steve and Diane’s house. It was lovely to find such a thoughtful welcome packed we arrived. The location of the house is great, it is just a few minutes walk into town and a short drive to the beach at Camber Sands. The house is spacious and well presented. The kitchen is well equipped - the minor exception, it could do with egg cups as we had eggs in welcome pack. Bathrooms were a delight - lots of hot water, great showers and a wonderful free standing bath with a view! The patio and raised seating area looked lovely - a bit chilly for us this time but we would love to come back. The parking space was adequate for a small car like ours but a larger one would need to use car park just down the road. Thank you very much Steve and Diane, we had a great time and would thoroughly recommend a stay in your lovely house.

Well what can I say apart from perfect! I booked this to propose to my fiancé due to the coziness, setting and back ground and boy did it not disappoint! The surrounding area is phenomenal and so pretty with all the wildlife right at your door step. The room itself is perfect and you could stay there for days without needing to leave. Tracy has everything you need covered from pots and pans, to cleaning products all the way to fresh milk, butter and jams. If you need anything else shops aren’t too far either. The bath is perfect and one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever been in, the little bathroom is also amazing and far more space than first seems. The shower is lovely too! The bed is very very comfortable and with extra pillows as standard it’s even better. The whole room is decorated perfectly. The hot tub, BBQ and log burners are also a massive benefit and make it the perfect relaxing getaway! Tracy is just amazing and we can’t wait to go back again, you won’t regret it!

We needed a place to stay not to far from the main railway station. We wanted to be able to prepare some meals for ourselves. This apartment worked out very well for us.

This was a unique stay - exactly as shown in the photographs, the Mill has been renovated by Clare with love and style in equal measure and is a very special place to stay. We saw it when Sandi Toksvig visited for her travel programme and I vowed to visit at some point. A beautiful spot with lots to do around it in gorgeous Kent. Highly recommend visiting Dixter House and Gardens btw.

Wow! What an amazing home. So much bigger than the photos give it credit for. Easy to find and walkable to town, beach, shops and restaurants. The home had everything we needed and an extra fridge was welcomed as a family of five! The beds were extremely comfy so we all slept soundly. Ellie has been responsive, helpful and always replied to my emails quickly. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage, and for letting us bring our four-legged friend too! Broadstairs is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Jamie's Cottage in Whitstable. It had a great location, is airy and stylishly furnished, lots of great art prints and in the typical style of an English fisherman's cottage. Everything we needed was there, the kitchen was well equipped and Jamie made sure we were comfortable. I only realised afterwards that dogs were allowed, but it was really very clean and you didn't notice a thing! Above all, the bed was super comfy, there was great bed linen and the shower was perfect (in some holiday homes it's a disaster). Thank you Jamie, we would love to come back!
