Get a freshly laid egg, pick berries, or take a walk in the amazing outdoor areas. The Confirmation Room is located at the opposite end of our private home and has its own entrance. 5 minutes to Ans (shopping, etc.). 15 minutes to Silkeborg (nature, restaurants, culture, shopping) 45 minutes to Aarhus (with everything the city of smiles has to offer.)

Boligen er en del af en 3-længet gård med egen indgang og lukket have med tilhørende terrasse. Boligen ligger i landlige omgivelser med udsigt over marker men tæt ved indkøb og Silkeborg by. Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
