Dunnwell Lodge, North Yorkshire

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Wow what a wonderful stay! We loved everything about it and enjoyed every second of being here. A lot of love and care was put in to making this a beautiful, spotlessly clean, home away from home. It was perfect for our girls weekend away. Plenty of space and a massive sofa for our film night. We even got a friendly visit and happy doggy fuss from ted (who we all wanted to take home). Thank you for having us, the pubs were a great suggestion for food on the way up and we even managed a few afternoon drinks at the Millbank (highly recommend for anyone visiting too) super friendly and the village is beautiful for little walk around. Cannot recommend enough! A must visit!

Imagine at High Parks

We had the most perfect week at Imagine. The kids faces when they saw their space was a picture. The view is breathtaking and so peaceful. Julie was so helpful and responsive, we couldn't ask for anywhere better than imagine to spend a week together as a little family. What a dream of a place!!!

Henge Hideaway

Lovely relaxing stay at Henge Hideaway. We loved watching the hares playing in the field and listening to the cockerel. A nice peaceful retreat..whilst in the area we went to Fountains Abbey and the Druids Temple, both were great. Bedale is a lovely little town too. Only a 10 min walk from the henges which we also liked

The Stable Room

RooRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We booked Rebecca’s place at very short notice and are so pleased to have found such a great new base for our Yorkshire adventures! Rebecca was incredibly accommodating with our later arrival time due to traffic. We arrived to a spotlessly clean little room-The bed was super comfy, kitchen was well equipped and clean, the shower was lovely with good water pressure (very important to curly haired people like myself!).. We visited Ripon, Harrogate, Masham and Pateley Bridge. Ripon is very dog friendly and ‘Oliver’s Pantry’ is well worth a visit-they even have a doggy menu! Lots of lovely walks straight from the front door of the cottage, alongside two pubs within walking distance. At night, we were not able to hear any road noise-we had the best nights sleep that we’ve had in a while! Overall, The Stable Room is an utterly brilliant, dog friendly little bolthole and we would definitely return xx

Absolutely superb accommodation with a friendly, responsive, helpful host. The kitchen facilities are top quality. The accommodation is spacious, modern, and clean. The location is very quiet and peaceful. Central location with moderate drive to places we wanted to visit (e.g. Fountains Abbey). Will definitely choose Ramblers Barn again when visiting this area.

A friendly place to stay in North Yorkshire

SheilaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very friendly welcome to this lovely annexe from our hosts. We only stayed a couple of nights to break a long journey and we had a rare wet day so couldn't enjoy sitting in their garden. Sarah and Al were keen to make sure everything was as good as it could be. Their instructions were very clear and there was lots of up-to-date tourist information for anyone staying longer.
