Monthly Rentals in Thornton Gap

Wonderful! Such a great space for families traveling with kids! Excellent location and a nice view from the front porch. Thomas was so accommodating! I highly recommend a stay when visiting Luray!

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Sarah's place was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. It's far enough from the city for stargazing at night, but near some great little restaurants in town. Parking is directly in front of the house for easy unloading. The house layout was fun to explore with interesting angles to give a unique feel. We would love to return for a future stay!

We loved staying here - the dome is really unique and cool! Location is spectacular- only a few minutes from the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. Hot tub and fire pit were great in the peaceful forest surroundings. The privacy isn't as strong as we had hoped - there is another dome and house on the property. Not a deal breaker but something to consider if you are looking for something more secluded. The hosts were outstanding and provided great local recommendations. We would stay here again!
