Memento Vivere means "Remember you have to Live" and this 124year old house was completely brought back to life by its owners with modern amenities and a cozy atmosphere, all the while preserving its charm. A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

This apartment is located on the historic main street of Northwood, Iowa, above Carpenter Coffee Company (quiet evenings). Local brewery right across the street and multiple restaurants in close proximity of the Airbnb. This is a full studio apartment that includes up to four sleeping options (king bed, twin rollaway, and couch), large bathroom with walk in shower, and full kitchen. A great place to enjoy the small town lifestyle with everything at a walking distance!

Headwaters Hideaway

Headwaters Hideaway is the perfect place for you to unwind for a quick getaway, a week long stay, or an extended stay. Our cabin sits at the edge of our seasonal site campground on the shores of Crystal Lake (264 acres). Public access is within walking distance if you choose to enjoy boating or fishing on your stay. We also have 2 kayaks available. The kids will stay entertained with a playground and basketball hoops just across the campground access road.

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes!
