Monthly Rentals in Thomasburg

We were warmly welcomed, guided extensively through the accommodation. This old house was very well and lovingly renovated with its own charm. More than everything necessary available!! Also great place for 5 adults, plenty of space! Thanks Ulli, we'll be happy to come back....

If you are in need of rest, go here for a week. The cottage is in the middle of the forest, in a kind of hamlet with a few other houses around it. The owners live opposite and have a vineyard (you can buy homemade wine from them!). They are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is large and equipped, there is even a sauna! You can sit both inside and outside, outside you can see swallows flying all day. Nearby is beautiful nature and some small villages, and the town of Lüneburg is well worth a visit. Furthermore, there is not very much exciting in the area, so you can stay quietly at the cottage and read a lot of books, for example ;-). Really a good place to get away from it all. What was still missing was a fan (it was very hot) and a washing machine (nice to be able to wash once if you stay there for a longer time). Also there are a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared ;-). We greatly enjoyed it and would love to come back!

We had a really nice time at Frauke's! The apartment is super cozy and is located in a great area. Although it is on the street, it was totally quiet in the house – really pleasant. Best of all: the Elbe dyke starts right behind the house – perfect for walking or cycling directly into the village. Cafés, restaurants, shopping and bakeries are all within walking distance. With our little child (1.5 years) everything worked out great – the steep stairs at the entrance were doable, otherwise really child-friendly. Everything was exactly as described – thank you, Frauke, for the wonderful time! Should I add something personal or individual?

There's only the best thing to say about this place: the apartment is equipped with many loving details, the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is great, the beds are very comfortable and the terrace is the hit to sit comfortably in the sun in the evening! Adelheid is a very likeable and attentive host, we were even allowed to go to her great garden. A clear recommendation, especially for families with young children, because there is no traffic nearby and a huge meadow to play in front of the small church. We will be happy to come back, but then for longer!
