Monthly Rentals in The Commons

wish I could give Rikey & Paddy's place a thousand stars. We loved our stay at Swallow's Nest... we didn't want to leave. The space where we stayed was comfortable & had everything we needed, plus some added extras which we truly appreciated. The bed was great. Rikey & Paddy have now become friends for life... so welcoming & friendly. We would come back in a heartbeat ♥️

Seliina was the perfect host. I was there for a quick overnight and her place fit the bill. She was super generous with supplies in the kitchen and bathroom.

Beautiful space! Clean and tidy!

This was just what we wanted. Rural, very quiet, but close enough to the town of Kilkenny to make it convenient...about a 15 minute drive. You definitely need a car (and a GPS)! Beautiful countryside, with the woods literally right outside the front gate. A short path leads directly to hours' worth of hiking on well maintained trails. The house is nicely remodeled with modern conveniences, without losing its original charm. The fireplaces are definitely a bonus!! We didn't even need the one in the bedroom; the one in the living area was sufficient to keep the house cozy - with just a little boost from the electric heaters. Comfy bed, nice new shower, hot water. Kitchen could use a few more pots/pans (there is only one frying pan) but if you don't plan on cooking a lot it should suffice. We did fine with two people. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
