The Folk Art Studio was the PERFECT getaway for our weekend!! Joe and Fiona are the friendliest hosts you’ll ever meet, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The space is beautiful, homey and comfortable with everything you’ll need. They have a beautiful yard with a small private garden that is the perfect spot for morning coffee, and a porch glider for slow country evenings. The bed was the most comfortable thing you’ll ever sleep on, and everything was very clean when we arrived. The area is quiet with a lot to do in town and surrounding places! They had an EXCELLENT guide that helped us discover some of our new favorite local spots, and their recommendations never disappointed. I sincerely hope to be able to stay with Joe and Fiona every time we come to the Berkshires!

Picture the scene, crawling out of a toasty warm bed, a dusting of snow outside as you brew up a pair of espressos. The heady aroma entices my lovely bride of 27 years to poke her nose out from under the duvet. As we enjoyed our first sips we were treated to the excited chortling and gobbling of over twenty turkeys as they passed by the cabin. The peace and quiet was punctuated by the occasional woodpecker and wild turkey. We enjoyed a glass or two of wine sitting in front of the warm glow of the wood stove. Peace - quiet - nature - comfort - The Cabin gave us the pause we needed - we recommend everyone, young and old to slow down, reconnect, discover each other in this beautiful cabin in the woods!

Perfect for a peaceful getaway in the Berkshires. The cabin is on a quiet dirt road off the main road, in a wooded property lined by a small brook. The screened-in porch and lounge nook is great for a relaxed morning. Fire wood was stocked for a nice camp fire. The cabin is closed well equipped, and updated. Short drive to Monument Mountain, great restaurants/bakery/brewery in Great Barrington and Stockbridge. Sheela was a wonderful host! I can't wait to come back!

loved this cozy cabin for a snowed in weekend. the setting is beautiful and the house is completely stocked with everything you could need for quiet time with family. we came with two small kids and it was well suited for them. hoping to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. thanks Scott for being such a phenomenal and responsive host amid the crazy snow storm.
