We had a wonderful night! The house was charming, the bed was super comfortable (best nights sleep I’ve had away from home in a very long time!), and the jacuzzi was relaxing! We especially loved all the fireplaces and are looking forward to coming back at a nicer time of year to make better use of the outdoor space!

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The space was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything I needed. I would definitely come back again!

Our stay at Martin's place was fantastic! The property is quaint, cute and conveniently located to downtown Lichfield and surrounding nature centers and trails. A highlight for the trip was White Memorial Foundation, tons of trails along beautiful ponds, marshes and grassy hills. Martin provided amazing directions for the house and was super responsive and proactive when needs arose. I would highly recommend Martin's property to any family or group of friends looking for a relaxing and adventurous time in Northern Connecticut!

Such a cozy space!!! My small family really did enjoy our peaceful stay. I would definitely book again when in the area. I felt such peace and serenity sitting under the stars, in front of the crackling campfire. It was me and the hubby with 2 of our girls ages 10 and 16. They loved the hot tub and s’mores:). This house is gorgeous right on the lake in the winter was so beautiful. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved Catherine’s guidebook so well written and amazing communication. I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a staycation!! Thank you for an amazing weekend! 💕

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

I booked Nidhi's place for one night for myself and a guest to attend a show at Bearsville. The placement of everything, inside and outside, created an intentional sense of comfort. My guest arrived after me - without a thought, we ended up at the kitchen table talking for hours before the show. Again, the placement of this conversation spot felt intentional, but only after we found ourselves engaged in it. The outdoor surroundings are utilized to not only accent, but to enhance the indoor setting. The whole experience felt private and safe, and allowed us to share a really precious window of time for reconnection and decompression. In addition to the appealing aesthetics (the chosen blue for that kitchen!), the bedding was a treat to come back to at the end of the night - so inviting and equally comforting to find yourself wrapped up in in the morning. Nidhi so kindly messaged me out of concern for the very high winds we were experiencing (prepared with a generator), but no issue.

Beautiful place for a weekend stay. Wineries, distilleries, restaurants and bakeries near by. All great!

Darla’s cottage was such a sweet spot for a weekend getaway. Super cozy, clean, and peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. It felt tucked away in the woods but still really easy to get to, and just a few minutes down the road from Rough Cut Brewing, which was a big plus. We loved being able to grab some beers, then come back and relax inside. Darla was a great host—friendly, but gave us plenty of space. Would totally stay again next time we’re in the area!

My family, dog and I had an incredible weekend visit! It was our first time to the area and we already want to come back. Consuelo was a fantastic host! Consuelo was so easy to get a hold of for questions and was so friendly. The place was very organized, quaint and gorgeous. Thank you for a fantastic time! :)

Loved our stay in this beautiful cottage, perfect for the 2 of us. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated with a TV that had all the movie channels. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, including delicious coffee . The bed was incredibly comfortable, slept like a baby. Pillows and blankets added to the comfy feel of home. Mark is a wonderful host who insured that the driveway was free of snow and ice prior to our arrival Highly recommend visiting.

Easy stay, great communication, accommodating and a lovely place!

Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Highly recommend, one of our best for sure, thank you

Stephanie's Cider Cottage is one of our favorite places to be. We stay each time I am back in MA to visit family, and I look forward to this quiet, lovely respite for which Stephanie, an excellent host, is an incredible steward.

We were expecting a peaceful, rustic, laid-back experience, and that's just what we got...and more. The cottage is situated in a lovely setting surrounded by trees, right at the edge of a picturesque brook. The inside was all we could ask for and more. So inviting and clean. Oozing warmth and charm. Every time we needed something, we could find it already supplied. The hosts clearly have thought of everything. We also loved the surrounding area. We spent lots of time in local eateries, checking out the nearby towns, and visiting the dozens of antique shops nearby. We had a wonderful time.

Picture the scene, crawling out of a toasty warm bed, a dusting of snow outside as you brew up a pair of espressos. The heady aroma entices my lovely bride of 27 years to poke her nose out from under the duvet. As we enjoyed our first sips we were treated to the excited chortling and gobbling of over twenty turkeys as they passed by the cabin. The peace and quiet was punctuated by the occasional woodpecker and wild turkey. We enjoyed a glass or two of wine sitting in front of the warm glow of the wood stove. Peace - quiet - nature - comfort - The Cabin gave us the pause we needed - we recommend everyone, young and old to slow down, reconnect, discover each other in this beautiful cabin in the woods!
