Monthly Rentals in Tengah Island

We LOVED our stay at the Nipah Chalet! It exceeded our expectations by far. Abbas and his worker Nazirul were the most friendly and welcoming persons we’ve probably met abroad. We did so many cool acitivities (snorkeling, trekking, fishing) with them. We also loved our little cozy hut right on the beachfront. We can do nothing but recommend this chalet to everyone traveling to Tioman because it’s the perfect mix of kindness, coziness, adventure and island experience. Enjoy!! :)

We had a great stay at this place. Mersing is more of a jumping off point to the islands and there isn’t overly much to do around town, but what there was to do was easily within range of the property. There was a convenient 7-11 nearby, Malay, Indian, and Chinese food available (although being the fasting month, options were limited). The jetty, banks, and ATMs are nearby, and there was even a Mr. DIY. Great location. Our apartment was tastefully furnished, neither too cluttered nor too sparse. No kitchen per se, but there was a steam pan to heat food up. A sink and mini refrigerator completed the ‘kitchen’ amenities. If you plan to cook, instant noodles are probably the limit. The double beds and adjustable sofa’s were a treat and the kids had a grand time on those. The air conditioning was frigid to arctic levels - something we liked. We had a nice chat with Poh’s sister at the lounge, they are great hosts and responsive to your queries. No hesitation in staying here again!
