A room on the Oggia

A simple and romantic space, a real room without frills with a kitchenette and a small terrace overlooking the river: from here you can see a small stone bridge... and the sound of flowing water. The accommodation is a single large vault: the whole house has been restored using natural materials, lime and paints made with flour and linseed oil. For the winter months, there is a wood stove that guests can manage independently. Wood is provided for the stay.

Gambetta area, city center, beautiful 1930s Art Deco building, VERY VERY SMALL studio (9 m²), quiet and sunny. Very functional for 1 person despite its very small size. Small kitchenette, shower in the room and enclosed INSIDE toilet. Low height on the mezzanine: 160x200 mattress, shortcut on a corner. TV, WIFI, AIR CONDITIONING. A clean apartment at a very low price, nice balcony, simple amenities for easy-going people. Princes and princesses: move along.

The nest

Once called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's hut served as a kitchen and dining room. It was there that the milk was transformed into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbors ,and where social life was tied up.Tools,seeds, harvests ,were also stored in the arbec. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a sense of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

The apartment is in the beautiful village of Saorge, overlooking the Roya Valley. There is a tuned baby-grand piano with a beautiful sound, and a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains and the Roya river. The village is considered to be one of the most interesting and attractive in this area (see the Saorge web site) and has good road and rail connections with the coast.
