Cabin vacation rentals in Témiscamingue Regional County Municipality

From my time conversing with Jocelyn around planing our trip I found her to be a very kind, responsive, and receptive host. As for our stay at The Athena Cabin. It was picturesque and wonderfully cozy for our group of 10. The rent was a little expensive for us, however no part of our experience felt cheap. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was spotless. The neighbours were friendly. The only problem my group had was our lack of preparation for the lack of potable drinking water (2024), which that was easily remedied by a trip to a near by grocery store mentioned by a provided list of important near by locations. Overall, I think the cabin is well worth the price for anyone who can fill it up and is looking for a classier getaway. Everyone in my group had a great time staying here and we would love to come again in the future. P.S - Something she doesn’t mention is how pretty the sunsets is on the lake. It was so beautiful we all went out to see.

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

Nicolet cottage is part of the Mattawa River Resort, which was a little piece of heaven. My kids and I enjoyed the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, cliff jumping and of course the fire under the stars. The staff was unbelievable friendly and the rustic and charming cottage had everything we needed. The memories we created will be with us forever and we look forward going back next year!

The place was magical and peaceful. We should’ve went last month as it was very cold and fall almost over but we had a great time regardless!

Lesley was a fabulous host. Our family totally enjoyed our time staying right on the rivers edge with a stunning view. The cabin and bunkie have a cozy vibe but tons of room for our extended family. There are lots of amenities to enjoy creating a great getaway. It was a special experience- the setting, the peace and the memories made. Can’t wait to return!

We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!

Very pristine location. Cabin is beautiful. The hosts made our stay very comfortable and answered our requests on short notice. The boats and kayaks provided an excellent experience on water. 5 stars.

Abi was super friendly, highly responsive, and an overall amazing host. Eggs were great. Cabin was great. You can contact her for any help you need but otherwise she’ll leave you to do your own thing. Fishing was great here as well. There’s a paddle boat, row boat, kayaks and canoes. This place you can tell is constantly getting updated so the description on Airbnb might be outdated. They seriously underpromise and overdeliver despite how thorough the listing is. 10/10 will be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Great place to chill out for a few days. The cottage and surroundings were quiet and beautiful. As for the hosts, Tina was really nice and easy to communicate with and her recommandations made everything easy. I highly recommend her and her husband’s cottage!

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it just as much as the first time. We had the opportunity to meet Rachel’s mother, Gail, who is an absolute beauty of a human! She is so sweet and great to talk to! The location of the cottage is stunning. When you wake up, you have a beautiful view of the lake. Rachel has always been so helpful and sweet with any questions we had and we will definitely be coming back!

Such a great place to go if you want to disconnect from everything. Cabin was spotless. Fred and Linda are extremely welcoming and friendly. You can be as active as you want. Found my favorite spot sitting at the end of the dock reading and watching the clouds go by.

This was our fourth stay at Caribou Run. Our family really likes Harris Lake and Caribou Run can accommodate our growing 3 generations of family. Bev and Gary are always easy to communicate with and are very accommodating. Location is perfect for fishing, swimming and water activities. There is room to dock our fishing boat, sea doo and paddle boards. Life is never dull at “the cottage”. We were able to experience the meteor shower while sitting on the dock, with all eyes looking up. Amazing night! We recommend this cottage for any larger families or families that vacation together. Thank you again for helping us create more family memories 😊.

Had an amazing stay here! Would definitely recommend for a nice get away trip. My husband and I came up for a long weekend with our dog. This place had everything we needed, and felt just like home! Very cozy and modern place. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with, and they made sure we had everything we could need for our stay! We will definitely be returning in the future!

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at this very clean and well-stocked cabin. We absolutely fell in love with the private, peaceful property- the views of the valley are so beautiful and if you like sunsets/stargazing this place is for you! The location is perfect if you like exploring provincial parks as there are five parks all within a 15-60 minute drive. My kids (4 & 9) loved the big open space to play and explore and they especially loved the trampoline. Helen is a great host; she’s very warm and communicative. We will absolutely be returning to this little slice of paradise. Thanks again Helen!!

Beautiful cabin located on a great spot on Trout lake. 5 of us had a great time snowmobiling around North Bay and enjoy the hot tub at night. Thanks for having us!

Great vacations at Shauna's cottage. Everything we needed, we found it. The accommodation is very comfortable with its large beds and its beautiful terrace. Everything is tidy and clean. It was very original to be able to kayak or paddle and take a shower and enjoy the sauna in the same place. We were quiet, which is what we were looking for. We would like to come back!
