Located one hour from Omaha in the scenic Loess Hills of Iowa, this newly remodeled studio apartment above the garage has a large deck and a beautiful valley view overlooking my hometown. With a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, full kitchen, shower in bathroom, laundry, and gas fireplace, the apt. is attached by an elevated deck to the main house, my childhood home, (which my husband and I call our "Hilltop Hospitality House"). We are excited to welcome gracious guests to this lovely space.

Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

You will find a simple, clean and affordable studio apartment. The apartment is a safe and quiet space to relax and retreat or concentrate and work. The fully equipped kitchen and the refrigerator/freezer makes it a great place to prepare a meal. Great for weekly or extended monthly stays. This place was absolutely amazing. We live local, but we had some friends coming in for the weekend that we could not accommodate. We had made an other reservation about 20 minutes from where we live that fell through a week before. With it being a holiday weekend, we were so worried we wouldn't find another option. But, thankfully, Ginger's place was available. It was a bit above our budget, but so much more convenient. We loved the tranquility of the place. It's not fast off Highway 30 at all, we could be in either Logan or Missouri Valley in about 5 minutes, but when we were there, we felt like the only people on earth. Safe, but so so peaceful. The home itself was beautiful and very spacious. It was clean and also had so many amenities! Ginger left little things we never would've thought of, and everything came in very handy. The patio and porch were great hangout spots. Checkout was super simple. We loved it and would absolutely stay again!

A Beautiful Stay in Blair! Perfect for Our Special Weekend! We stayed at this lovely home while attending our son’s wedding at the Red Barn Chapel, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and full of charm, with thoughtful touches in every corner. It was incredibly well-stocked with everything you might need, perfect in case you forget a few essentials. The hosts truly thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. The antique décor was especially delightful; my mom and I spent nearly an hour just exploring the pieces and reminiscing. It felt like stepping into a story. We requested an earlier check-in, and while we ended up delayed by travel, the hosts were so kind and accommodating. That flexibility made our arrival much less stressful. If you’re considering this rental, do it! You won’t be disappointed. It’s a warm, welcoming home with wonderful hosts and so much character.
