My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

From the moment we arrived home we felt welcomed by Dona Ana. It was all as described and even better. The house was super comfortable, prepared for the cold and with everything we were entitled to. Many games, books and full kitchen to spend Christmas. The house was in a quiet region but it had everything around. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all the reception and affection. We already want to book for next year. It was a pleasure to spend Christmas in Proença - a-Velha.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sozen Mill! The house is very comfortable, with everything you need to spend a few good days and decorated in very good taste. The space is very private and quiet and is right above a stream that flows into the Zêzere. Given the strength of the current at this time of year, it was not possible to bathe. But the garden and dining area allowed us to make good use of the outdoors. Special note to Mariana, always very friendly and accessible. It was a surprise to see the fridge full of good things for breakfast/snacks and to receive fresh bread every morning. By car, you can access incredible areas such as Fragas de São Simão. And we were able to bring our dog and take him on all the walks. 🐶 Definitely one of the best houses we've ever stayed in!

The house is very spacious, with several environments and can accommodate a large family easily. There are 4 bedrooms and several rooms with beds/sofas, all rooms with air-conditioning/heating. Our stay here was exactly what we needed, quiet, peaceful and a place to relax as a family whilst being local to larger towns. Our host, Adriana, was extremely responsive with all communication and very helpful. If we needed anything or had questions they were dealt with quickly including help with local amenities and suggestions. Everything was clean and tidy. The living space and bedrooms all excellent sizes. Local village very peaceful but only a 5 minute drive from the main town and roads. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and would definitely use again.

We loved stopping by this welcoming host. The house is spacious, the kitchen large and practical. We enjoyed the fireplace and the game of same, super nice and friendly. The house is far from the shops but we had a great pleasure to discover what to make a full breakfast: orange juice, cereals, yogurts, ham, cheese, butter, as well as a delicious homemade jam! And fresh bread was dropped off early in the morning by the owner. Thank you!
