Great house, very well-equipped, easy to make Checkin, clean and compatible with your photos. Our stay was very quiet and the host was worried to the point that we arrived and the house was already air-conditioned, since it was cold outside, we love it, super recommended!

Since we arrived at the place, the feeling was like being at home. Clear instructions for access and Mr. Victor available at all times. Fridge fills the first day and fresh bread every morning. Cleaning of common areas (pool, barbecue,...). You never saw anyone, but everything was always perfect. The only thing about the house is that when we went out it was very hot, but in each room there was a fan (if it had air conditioning it would already be perfect). Comfortable beds, kitchen with everything you need, clean bathrooms. Good barbecue and pool to cool off and relax (shared with the people in the other house on the estate, but at least in our case it didn't matter too much as they were very correct and respectful). The only "bad" thing about the house is its location. Not very close, but it has very interesting visits just a stone's throw away. If, as was our case you are looking for peace of mind at home and things to see 30-60 minutes by car, the place is perfect. Muito obrigado Vítor!!

Our stay summarized in one word: the paradise. The lost place on the mountain, the house furnished and equipped with everything you need and refined, the pool, the views… we were lucky enough to be alone on the ground and it was wonderful. Few contacts with the owners but effective and availability of Mrs. Concepçao who is super well in charge of the welcome and cleaning. A note for those in the city ;-) at first it impresses to be so secluded but is a delight.

We had a lovely stay at casa flores. It was so cozy and private, with everything you’d need. We enjoyed the pool, even though it was already a little cold - perfect refreshment! Hugh and David were always very helpful and very accommodating. The highlight was definitely the view of the beautiful surrounding. Would definitely recommend - 10/10!

Absolutely spectacular stay!! This home is a gem and in such a beautiful spot. My partner and I had the most relaxing week in this little oasis. Great communication from the host, and a perfect area to explore the nature and visit other towns as well. Can’t wait to go back again :)

We went to spend the end of the year with another couple of friends and we were able to cook everything we wanted (well equipped kitchen), celebrate without disturbing, we did not lack firewood to heat the house. Antonio left us everything we needed. We have been very comfortable, like at home and there is a lot to do in the surroundings (hiking trails, Visit to Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, etc.). Antonio is attentive to what we need, he is very friendly and has passed us a lot of interesting information. The house is a rehabilitation of an old windmill…great! In the garden there are many orange trees, idea for the morning zumito. House highly recommended!

A dream place! Beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed. Everything felt thoughtful and welcoming. Truly hard to leave...we’ll definitely be back :)!

It was a perfect stay. The accommodation is very nice and cozy, located in a beautiful region of the Portuguese sierra. There are many walks to do on foot from the house or with the car to visit other locations. Communication with Sofia was excellent, she responded quickly and also gave helpful tips for places to visit. The house was very well equipped, nothing was needed! Highly recommended!

The house was impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. It was both comfortable and unforgettable—in a word, perfect! Her communication was outstanding; she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house looks exactly as it does in the photos, which is a rare and delightful bonus. As a family of 5 traveling with little kids we felt right at home! Although the restaurants and market are 5 mins or 1-2 miles from the house it’s not a walkable area. When exiting the house be careful because of the traffic on the highway. Very clean home and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed the back yard and basketball goal and video games in the living room. We enjoyed the country scenery. Was able to get an Uber and have the same driver each trip to the market and restaurants. Uber trip from the house to local markets and restaurants is €3. Would stay here again! Family friendly! Lots of space! Adequate heating in the home!

Undoubtedly of the best weekends I've ever spent. The house is super cozy, comfortable and extremely beautiful, with a touch of rustic and modern, providing a unique experience. We feel all connected with nature at the same time due to the surrounding nature of the house, which provides an incredible leisure space, making it possible to take walks along the mountain, and at the same time has wonderful landscapes to accompany our stay there, taking breakfast with a landscape to accompany it that creates unique memories. It could not be missed to give a thank you to Mrs. Paula for her kindness in expediting our arrival, facilitating not only the arrival at home, but also for waiting for our arrival at home, although the hours were not very convenient, having been at all times very helpful with everything. And to finish big, he still showed extreme sympathy to have let us out later, to arrange everything calmly. A thank you for everything......

Modern building in a peaceful village. Bright and spacious apartment. Very quiet surroundings. Very clean and modern flat. Fast and reliable WiFi, smart-tv and a comfy sofa. Beds with new mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen, automatic coffee maker, dishwasher, electric kettle. You will need a car to get around, though. Small and well equipped store in walking distance, restaurants easily reached by car. Silvia was super friendly and always there when needed, but very discreet. She gave us valuable information on the surroundings and interesting things to see, like Águeda and Aveiro. We felt very welcome and like at home. We can fully recommend Avelino's place. Thank you again, Silvia!

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

The house is big and very charming, with beautiful old furniture, fireplaces, a big kitchen and a big garden (with orange trees and donkeys coming by). At the same time, everything has been renovated, so the bathrooms etc are very modern. There is a bakery and a small shop next door, but the village is very quiet. We really loved our stay in Joao's house - it was much more than expected and we would gladly come back one day! Thank you!

Very nice stay. Grandma's house is cozy, comfortable, flawless cleaning and has everything essential for a holiday in the village. D. Dália is a great host, proactive, very friendly and always available. I recommend it.

It was a short stay, but I really enjoyed the village where Mr. Pedro. It was very sweet and always available and useful for something that was necessary. An experience to be repaired no doubt. Reclaimed house very pleasant and welcoming, with a breathtaking view.

The house was actually more spacious than it appeared to us in the photos. Though the wood stove worked well (and there was a generous amount of wood available), the house was a bit chilly still, partly for being so spacious. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the appliances, utensils, etc we could need. The surroundings were extremely calm and quiet, and had lots of small birds.
