Monthly Rentals in Taylor Bay

The views from the house overlooking the lake are breathtaking, and the property is spacious, stylish and equipped to a very high standard. It was perfect for our 10-day stay - firstly with a couple of friends and ending with our two adult sons and their partners. We took the boat and moored it down by the shore, allowing us daily access to the lake… Enjoying picnics at various inlets and even a swim on one of the days! Kati tended to our every need and went the extra mile by sharing information about Easter and ANZAC weekend activities in the area. We will definitely be staying Up the Top in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little house, which is actually a beautifully remodeled workshop/barn. It has been tastefully renovated with a modern touch while still keeping the cozy, rustic feel intact. The large pergola gave the place so much character, and being surrounded by animals made it feel like a peaceful countryside escape. Cathie and Michael are incredibly welcoming hosts. They made us feel right at home and shared some great local tips that really helped us make the most of our time. There are several beautiful nature walks within 30 minutes of the property—one of them turned out to be the hardest (and most rewarding!) hike of our trip. Alexandra itself isn't overly touristy, which we absolutely loved. It felt like discovering a little bit of a hidden gem, the nature in the area is beautiful. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a little special.

Fantastic spot in Lake Eildon, just a short walk to town. The house offers stunning views and is perfect for accommodating 2–3 families comfortably.
