Guests can pick apples in the garden if it is the season for it. Inform the host of special needs such as a high chair/bed. Possibility for charging an electric car in the garage.

Welcome to a small yellow house on Tau. The house is located 100m from the bus stop with a short travel distance to Jørpeland (25min) and Stavanger (40min). There is a short walk to Tau Center (15 min), grocery store and the lake. Check-in: after 3 PM Check-out: By 11:00 am Before you leave, we ask you to: Take out the trash and throw it in the trash cans outside. Leave used towels in the bathroom. Place used bed linen next to the bed. We want you to clean and wash before you check out. We can do the cleaning for an extra fee (NOK 700)

With the apartment you will also have access to a spacious garden with outdoor furniture, trampoline and table tennis table. A grocery store, pharmacy, as well as cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. There are great hiking opportunities in the area and you are only a 20-minute drive away from Stavanger. Welcome to Fjellro! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.
