1000 characters are simply not enough to describe how much I enjoyed my time at Yoshie's home, so I'll do my best to be brief. Firstly, Yoshie may just be the greatest host in the history of Airbnb. Her hospitality was immense. She took the time to listen to our itnerary, pointed out the locations we'd be visiting on a map and made suggestions on where to go and what to see along the way. She even helped us buy groceries at a local supermarket and even took us to a pharmacy to buy some essentials. She was very responsive and even checked in on us regularly to see if there was anything we needed. She was the highlight of our stay. The home was immaculate. The views of the mountains from the backyard were jaw dropping. Tatsuno is a small town an hour from the Nakasendo trail, an hour from Matsumoto, two hours from Fuji lookout points and has great local bars and eateries. I only wish I had 1000 more characters to tell anyone just how much of a gem Yoshie's home is. Thanks Yoshie!

a great room within reasonable walking distance to both the bus and JR station. the is some noise from the trains, yes, but the windows are double layered and i was not disturbed at night/early morning even as a light sleeper

The host is a nice person, who open his genuine Japanese house for visitors and provides useful advice and human care. I had the privilege to taste his delicious coffee and aromatic tee, check his very hot onsen and finally rest in my confy bed located in a real studio of an architect. An unforgettable experience 😀
