What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

I stayed at the copper cabin for 2 months with my dog and it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. It was very clean, peaceful, and host was great. Maurice was great to communicate with and couldn’t do enough to make sure my stay was perfect. Whether someone is looking for a weekend away or a longer term stay, check this place out.

We had a wonderful stay! Patrick and Sarah provided clear and detailed instructions for our arrival. The cottage exceeded our expectations and was even bigger and brighter than pictured. We were a large group of two families (all adults) and everyone had plenty of room for sleeping and belongings. We followed the provided directions and walked to some lovely hiking trails close by. The cottage has modern amenities and was well stocked with almost anything you’d need to enjoy your stay.

We had a fantastic getaway weekend at this beautiful cottage! We enjoyed everything about this place - from relaxation in nature, enjoying a morning coffee outside overlooking the river while the birds sing, hot tub, sauna, BBQ, comfy beds, great host- couldn’t ask for more! We hope to come back one day!

Beautiful cabin, very clean, everything we wanted and as advertised. Relaxing in the hot tub on the deck was so amazing and we would easily book again! Lots of nearby trails to explore, very scenic area and absolutely loved it!

We had such an amazing stay at the Wentworth Scandinavian Spa. The check-in was simple and Tracey and Aahil were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The sauna, hot tub and cold plunge were a dream– we spent so much time using them. The cabin was clean, cozy and has everything you need to cook, relax or be entertained. We can’t wait to stay again!

Was a lovely cozy little cottage. The woodstove kept it nice and warm and cozy. Enjoyed sitting on the back covered deck listening to the birds. Was the quiet weekend get away that I needed. Will definitely return again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Beachcombers - a tranquil, idyllic spot on the island. Brenda was a friendly and responsive host who made us feel right at home, including welcoming us with cookies! The cottage is thoughtfully designed, well maintained and comfortable. Great for a couple or a small family.

The perfect beachfront cottage! Jacqueline was a fantastic host (she even brought us a big can of bug spray when we told her we forgot to buy some, and condiments for our burgers too!) and was super fast to respond to my questions and concerns. The location is fantastic for being isolated, we felt like we had the whole bay (and it’s beaches) to ourselves during the week, and the nearby nature reserve at the base of the bridge to PEI is a great day trip, but we learned on the first day that it costs $50 to cross over to NB from PEI, so we didn’t hop over and sightsee on PEI on random days like we had expected to. We had some plumbing issues on our first day that I thought wouldn’t be able to be fixed but she had her handyman out within like an hour and he had a patch until it could be fixed the next day. The dock and access to (really nice!!!!!) paddle boards and kayaks made this a dream for me, just perfect.

We had such an amazing time at Carrie’s cottage! The views are incredible ✨❤️ perfect for a peaceful family getaway! We were lucky enough to have a family of foxes with 5 little baby pups who entertained us our whole stay! Really felt the spirit of the Island!

The cottage was lovely, cozy and quiet. It was a great place for our family to take a step back and relax. Everything we would need was provided and only 20 mins from pictou made it easy to grab the necessities(snacks)for the boys. The neighbours were all friendly. The boys really enjoyed the beach and ping pong table. My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy the beach, relax on the deck and take in the beautiful views. This place really was heaven for us this past week. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the “Sunrise Cottage”.

Gayle was so accommodating letting us book last minute to celebrate our first anniversary at Paws Crossing. My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful rustic cabin nestled in the forest. The serene surroundings and the soothing sounds of nature made for the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The warm wood-burning fireplace created a cozy atmosphere that we absolutely loved. Interacting with the friendly farm animals - Betty, Ted and Sally was one of the highlights of our experience. Our host, Gayle, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature! We are looking forward to returning in the summer time if Gayle would be so kind as to host us again. Exploring the hiking trails (Trans Canada trail) and private swimming pond in the warm weather would be amazing! P.S This is a great bang for your buck!!

This cozy cottage on the water was everything my family and I could have asked for! Tracey and Randall made vacationing EASY with having everything we could need right there. We had great communication from the start making checkin quick! This vacation rental really felt like home! Great kitchen with everything you’d need, perfect sized bathroom/laundry room, and a great deck to sit on and admire the view! We used the outdoor shower lots to help wash off after a day at the beach. We also had a fire and s’mores one night! The paddle board, canoe and kayaks were a bonus that we took advantage of and toured around on the water with my family. Nothing but positive things to say! Look forward to staying here again!

This place is in a great location, right near a beach in a somewhat rocky bay (bring your water shoes!). We loved the beach, playing in the water there or walking in the bay at low tide. We had a few hiccups, but Shery generally responded very quickly to our questions. The place is nice, we enjoyed our stay!

It's not often that something exceeds your expectations..This cottage did, the spot is perfect, overlooking the redshore with access to the ocean...what more could you ask for. The cottage itself is well appointed with everything you might for a visit. We especially liked sitting on the porch looking at the the ocean counting the seals as they bobbed along. My wife enjoyed scanning the tidal pools. ( if you haven't been to PEI the tides are extraordinary at low tide you can seemingly walk for ever) I guess the best way to describe our experience is to say that we tried to book the cottage for the next year after only days I would absolutely recommend this cottage for anyone who loves the peace of the ocean.

Tammy was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and flexible. Her place is cozy and the view is peaceful and beautiful. I loved the screened in porch overlooking the bay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Jeff and KL’s place. My family of four, including kids 6 and 9, stayed for a week. The home was the perfect size for us. The large outdoor porch provided a dining and sitting area. The large private yard provided great space for the kids to run around, use the basketball goal and play with some of the yard games provided by the hosts. Inside, the house was very comfortable. Everything was very clean, and beds and furniture were comfortable. There were plenty of drawers and hangers and hosts provided high quality kitchenware. The location was excellent. It was only a short walk to the tidal beach on the Cardigan river, where we enjoyed swimming and digging for snails when the tide was low. The hosts also offered use of their kayaks which we enjoyed. We loved biking from the house along the Confederation trail to Cardigan and Georgetown. The eastern end of the island is quieter and offers a better experience than the touristy area near Cavendish.

We really enjoyed our stay at the peaceful cottage on the bay. It was quiet and the view of the water, surrounding fields and marsh was amazing, viewed from the screen porch. The bed was comfortable with nice linens and ample towels. We had everything we needed and all was in working order. Sam was very responsive when we had to modify our booking. We hope to come back and stay again!
