Really the perfect house for vacation. Great welcome and lots of little touches. The house is in a dream location, lovingly decorated and perfectly equipped. There's really nothing missing here. Super nice host with great tips and very good accessibility. If we come back to Nova Scotia, we will definitely book the Secret Beach House again. Dear Courtenay, Thank you so much for everything. This was a fantastic place to stay as it was clean, thoughtfully equipped, and architecturally beautiful. My girlfriends and I booked the cottage for a cozy night in after a visit to the nearby Nordic spa, and it exceeded our expectations. The space was inviting with plenty of amenities that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The only drawbacks were related to lighting. There were no lamps in the whole cottage, so we had to rely on the overhead lights, which made the atmosphere feel less cozy in the evening. Additionally, while the majority of the windows are not designed for curtains, it would have been nice to have some window coverings in the one bedroom downstairs where they could be hung to help block out the morning light. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d absolutely stay again.

We had a great experience, the stay was perfect. Check in is as easy as can be, everything was spotless, organized, and well thought out for guests. It would be the perfect spot for two couples with the matching primary bedroom and bathrooms. Would recommend this place without hesitation.

We really enjoyed the view from the deck and the living room . This place is a GEM . Having the beautiful view of the bay and yachts , being so close to the water made our stay that much more enjoyable . The apartment was nicely furnished and well equipped . It was perfect for a short or long stay and we would love to come back again .

Completely gorgeous home. Top of the line quality and cleanliness. Suzanne was very responsive to our needs and equipped the house based on our requests. Kitchen was large and had every amenity needed. Superb location. Comfortable and very cozy home and very suitable for large or small numbers. I would highly recommend staying here.

Centrally located in the Village of Chester

Ross' place was everything one could ask for when renting an airbnb . It is centrally located in the village, and we were able to walk to all amenities, and beaches. The house itself was a mariner's dream. I really enjoyed the special touches inside the house itself . The galley kitchen with the "crew mess" set of dishes was a really nice nod to those with a mariner's background. The house was clean, spacious and just delightful to sit in and take in the peaceful surroundings. The master bedroom was a spacious calming haven and it has a lovely deck that overlooks a garden and pond in the backyard. Every morning we would have a family of white tailed deer pass through the garden, this you do not see in the city! This was by far the best Airbnb experience my family and I have had. Ross and Cavenaugh are exceptional hosts!
