Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

Il soggiorno presso la villa di Isabella è stato fantastico. La casa è bellissima, come si vede dalle foto, in una zona molto tranquilla e che permette un relax totale e privacy per i gruppi che vi vanno. Tante informazioni fornite sui dintorni e sulle attività della zona; per esempio noi abbiamo usufruito del servizio della “pizza in casa”, con i pizzaioli davide e Monica che sono venuti a cucinare le pizze per noi (c’è un fantastico forno a legna in casa) ed è stata davvero una bella serata. Consigliatissimo!

Giulia's place is so beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. The kitchen is modernized and we loved using the greenhouse for meals outside. The whole home is comfortable and updated thoughtfully without losing the historical charm - beautiful finishings, heigh ceilings, gorgeous flooring etc. The views from the property with the gardens and pool are also lovingly cared for and maintained. We had an easy check in an check out process and the hosts were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Just two things to note are the sounds from the road - if you are a light sleeper we recommend bringing earplugs as drivers honk going around the turn. Additionally there is only one key to get in and out of the gate to the property - if you have different groups staying at the home this can be challenging to coordinate. Just two things to be aware of but by no means did it distract from the wonderful stay we had. We will definitely be visiting again and cannot recommend this property enough!

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden hier einen 10-tägigen Urlaub verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Schönheit von Anwesen und Umgebung: Im wunderschönen Zitronenhain gelegen mit Blick auf die Hänge des Ätna und auf‘s Meer. Besser geht‘s nicht! Langeweile kam nie auf, die Gegend bietet super viel! Ein Auto ist allerdings wichtig. Auch auf dem Grundstück gab‘s immer was zu tun: wunderschöner Pool, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Fußball oder in der tollen Küche kochen… und immer frische Zitronen. Maria Gulia und Angelo sind super freundlich und halfen uns oft mit Tipps und schnellen Antworten weiter. Die Villa ist eine absolute Empfehlung!!

A Hidden Haven in the Heart of Catania We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. This villa was a truly unexpected haven tucked away in the city of Catania. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, and the beauty of the grounds. The lawns and garden were meticulously maintained—lush, green, and full of color—which made every morning coffee feel like something out of a postcard. The spacious pool was a highlight for our family, offering a private and refreshing escape after a day of exploring Sicily. It was spotless, well-kept, and perfectly positioned to enjoy both sun. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the hospitality of our host Giovanni. Not only was he warm and welcoming, but the food he prepared for us was unforgettable—fresh, flavorful, and a true taste of Sicilian home cooking. We came expecting a comfortable place to rest, but what we found was a sanctuary that far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend

Perfect location right near the entrance for the old town

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Francias smukke og autentiske hus. Her var rent og behageligt. Fra terrassen som vi benyttede meget, var der en fantastisk udsigt fra Messina strædet mod Catania. Vi havde fantastisk smuk natteunderholdning af både ugler og Etna. Hvis vi igen komme til Sicilien vil vi bestemt besøge Francicas hus.

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor spaces were truly amazing. The kitchen is on the small side but we had no problems cooking meals for eight. We took the short drive into Santa Venerina for groceries and a couple of meals. The streets were not as narrow as some Italian villages. The best part of the stay was Mara herself! She is so helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Un endroit magique avec une vue à couper le souffle - encore plus beau que sur les photos. Incroyable de pouvoir voir Castelmola d’un côté, la mer devant et Etna de l’autre côté. La route est étroite et en montée, mais ça en vaut définitivement la peine La maison était très belle, spacieuse et très propre. Idéale pour une grand groupe. Et que dire de l’hôte, Gorgio était tellement gentil et nous a laissé des cadeaux à notre arrivée : vin, huile, citrons de ses arbres et biscuits

Everything about this villa was perfection. Our host Roberto was so helpful….he arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. He set up the most beautiful and unforgettable Mothers Day at the beach for us. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate him! He met us at check in and explained everything from the home to getting around Taormina. The villa was outstanding. We felt like we were getting a true Sicilian experience staying in this beautiful family home. My whole week there felt like a dream. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Taormina.

If I was able to offer 5 additional stars I would have. The Villa was incredible. From the moment we stepped foot on the terrace the view was jaw dropping- and that was daylight… at night the view was spectacularly dazzling. We were having a family celebration and the villa’s accommodations were perfect for each family member. The villa is ideally located close to the access stairs to Taormina and the bus stop. The kitchen was completely outfitted and we were able to enjoy prepping and cooking meals throughout the week. Cinzia was an absolute perfect host!! Not only were we welcomed by Cinzia, she assisted with our luggage, personally delivered us to town to pick up some provisions and also offered excellent restaurant recommendation. We were greeted with a welcome fruit basket, water & Aperol Spritz fixings!! Additionally there was a stocked wine bar that we were able to directly purchase by the bottle. Did I mention that the Etna eruption!! We enjoyed right from the terrace!

This place has been a highlight of our trip. It is peaceful, comfortable, very spacious and full of character. Our hosts were amazing, friendly, full of local knowledge and very prompt answering any questions we had. Our arrival was welcoming with delicious snacks provided and a free guided tour of how to get to the best local shops. It is close to everything that you would want to see and there is a restaurant within walking distance. The outside shower is amazing, but there are also 2 indoor alternatives. Jane and Bill

Meget imødekommende og fleksibel vært. Sendte henvisninger til seværdigheder, restauranter og indkøb forud for ankomst. Der var friskbagt kage, kaffe, vand i køleskabet og brød i fryseren til fri afbenyttelse. Skøn terrasse både foran og bagved huset og det bedste - 2 udendørs brusere. 5 min gang til stranden med sandbund og skønt vand. Dog var der ret beskidt med grene, plast og andet skrammel. Der var dog rengøring af strand arealer i gang flere steder så måske vil det også komme her.

We had a great time at Gianfranco's place! The house is a little difficult to find at first but Gianfranco was able to meet us, showed us how to get there, and helped us bring our bags! We stayed for 5 nights and after the first day we felt really comfortable knowing our way around. Taormina is just absolutely beautiful. The Airbnb location is perfect and very close to the main streets. We were able to walk to everything with no problem. There is also a small market less than 5 minutes away with all the necessities we needed. There is a hotel right next door and we had access to the outdoor pool and bar which we used a few times. The Airbnb was very spacious with 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Our party was a group of 6 adults and 2 small children and we never felt cramped. Gianfranco's communication was A+. When we had minor issues with the Stovetop/gas or the hotel pool, he was able to come right away and resolve the issue. We would definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough about this property. It was very clean, plenty of towels for my family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with groceries. The rooftop with jacuzzi and lounge chairs was such a nice perk. Yes there are a lot of steps but it’s Taormina! Nicolo was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and helping bring in our luggage. We would definitely stay here again!

Fijne host die ons warm welkom heette. Het was een erg ruim en tegelijkertijd gezellig appartement. Brandschoon! Een leuk terras met super mooi uitzicht op de zee, waar je zelfs vanuit de woonkamer en keuken van kon genieten. Fijne restaurants in de buurt (ons bijvoorbeeld vermaakt tijdens een karaokeavond in een pizzarestaurant met ontzettend aardige mensen!) en een gezellig koffietentje direct om de hoek. Veilige en rustige omgeving waar je goed kunt parkeren.
