Family-friendly vacation rentals in Taormina

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

What a view!! This place was great. Plenty of space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable too. The kitchen was very well equipped. Many, many stairs and an uphill walk to get to town, but lots to do and places to eat when you get there! A+

Fantastic location at the foot of Mount Etna, with beautiful views over the surrounding area. The house has all the comforts and was delivered clean. Michela is a very friendly host and communicated quickly. An absolute no-brainer in terms of value for money.

We are a family of six who stayed in Velia’s apartment for 2 nights. We enjoyed it a lot and was happy to stay there. We will warmly recommend the place to other people. It is ideally located in the center of Catania, it has lovely outside space and the apartment is very spacious. Velia was very helpful and kind.

We enjoyed our stay at Gaetano’s apartment. Everything was really easy to reach by foot from the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious, nice and clean. We had a great stay!

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

A must stay for fans of “The Godfather” The village has several scenes from the films. Take a drive to the quaint village of Savoca and have a drink in the famous “bar Vitelli” We spent our mornings walking around the village of Forza d’Agro, exploring the tiny higgledy- piggledy alleyways that went up and down with houses dotted around. Unfortunately many are not habitable but this adds to the charm. The apartment has everything that you need and has a spectacular view of the sea and surrounding houses below. The place is very clean and comfortable. The village has a number of restaurants to choose from at very reasonable prices all within walking distance from the apartment.

I would recommend it to everyone. Gianluca is very understanding, very flexible. We came with the kids early on Sunday and he checked us in much earlier, thank him very much for that. He also has his own tourist agency in the building and you can get all the information and best recommendations from him. Apartment is in the very center and everything is close, it is normal that it is sometimes a little noisy, but believe me, that is the advantage of Sicily itself. As for the apartment, everything is as in the pictures.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place in Sicily. Honestly, the listing doesn’t even begin to capture how special and beautiful the house is. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the marina—and you can see the sea from almost every corner of the home. There are multiple terraces and seating areas, and the house itself is incredibly spacious. One of our favorite things was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. Sergio was also super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. He left a very detailed guide full of fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay at Guilia's apartment. The apartment is well equipped and has plenty of space for our family of 5. The location was great and just minutes from downtown and shopping. The U-Bahn [subway] is only a few minutes' walk away. We had a lovely week in Catania and highly recommend it. We'll be happy to come back.

We stayed with our son at Rosario and Mariela's house for 8 days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even before our arrival, Rosario accompanied us, gave us detailed information and helped and advised on every issue. Rosario was always available and helped with joy and goodwill. He always asked if we were missing anything. When we arrived, the best of Sicilian produce awaited us, including pastries, yogurt and milk, a six-pack of water and other products. Rosario allowed us to arrive early and leave later, according to our flight times. In addition, at the end he drove our son to the train station. In conclusion, when we come to Sicily again, we will be happy to return and will also recommend them to friends and acquaintances. Salvatore's apartment is located directly on the harbor of the small town surrounded by numerous restaurants and a few minutes' walk from the beach. I felt comfortable from the beginning. You can spend a lot of time outside, the terrace in front is probably the highlight. The terrace in the back has a lot of potential, is only little equipped, but you can also put chairs or the table from the inside outside if you want. In the kitchen you can also find everything you need. Overall, the apartment has a very special vibe because the sea breeze always provides fresh air. Salvatore is also super nice and I felt very welcome.

Although we were unlucky with the weather, we greatly enjoyed our stay here. We haven't made use of any of the amazing terraces, but were very happy with the spacious kitchen and living room. In the end, we did get to see the Etna in her full glory. The house is charming and strategically located, and Luigi was very friendly and helpful.

A charming and beautifully located spot in the heart of Taormina. The space was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly situated for exploring the area. The host was attentive and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay.
