The best choice for a trip to Shirahama!The sea view is beautiful and the room is spacious.The surrounding area is perfect for walking to explore and the nearby food hot springs are perfect!Must have a good house every time you come to SHIRAHAMA!

The property was great, it looked like lots of fun and a good place to stay. Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay because of sudden repairs that had to be made. We could have stayed but would have been unable to use some facilities which wouldn’t work for our particular group. Fortunately the host was very quick to offer a solution that worked for everyone! Would love to stay here next time I’m in Shirahama.

The owner was also kind and made for a very fulfilling trip.

The house was an old Showa era building, but it was a pleasure for me. Various things were meticulously prepared, and I was grateful for the situation where I could relax right away. The sea was right in front of us, and it was very soothing. Comeri and Lawson are just a short walk away. In front of Comeri, there is a restaurant. Next to two or three houses of the house. If you walk to the Lawson side for about 10 minutes, the hot spring river river spa and the roadside station.The dining room on the second floor was delicious. After driving north for about 20 minutes, you can drink hot springs. After driving southeast for 2 or 30 minutes, "Mangoki no Yu" at Susami Road Station.The hot spring while looking out at the sea was private. Unlike the center of Shirahama, There were no tourists, and I enjoyed the hot springs and food shops, which was great! I would also like to take care of you during the swimming season. Thanks! We had an amazing time staying in this authentic Japanese traditional house that blends classic charm with modern comforts. The place was really clean and well kept, and you can tell Xian Jie, the owner pays attention to all the little things, which made it feel really cozy. The best part was definitely the brand-new private onsen—such a nice way to relax and made the trip way better. I highly recommend this place, and strongly suggest booking the optional dinner and breakfast to fully enjoy the authentic Japanese hospitality and cuisine made with local ingredients. This stay offers a perfect blend of tradition, comfort, and luxury for an unforgettable experience. Thumbs up👍

Peaceful. No traffic noise. Beautiful walks by the river. Amazing mountains all around. Really great soba restaurant at a nearby town (cheap). Felt like a ghibli movie. 10/10 will stay again. PS the manager mentioned in the description does *not* stay in the house. He lives in another town. The entire property is private for your use. Very private and beautiful place.

What a beautiful place! We would highly recommend this temple stay. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The experiences offered at the temple, like sutra copying, meditation and the morning porridge teachings were all informative and well done. The temple itself is beautiful and the setting by the river with surrounding gardens is very peaceful and calming. It was easy to get a taxi out to the temple from the Katsuura train station. The accommodations themselves were spacious and i especially loved the beautiful old ink drawings. The mattresses were comfortable and the full kitchen was really handy to have as well. If you have a chance we would highly recommend this experience!

The staff's polite response and customer service. The location was also great! Especially the riverbed sauna, it was really good!The beautiful river and sauna that flows right in front of you is the best. I took a BBQ, a bonfire after a meal, and two Wangchangs right in front of the room, but there was no inconvenience, and I enjoyed Wanchangs a lot! I will definitely go again! Thank you.😊

The location of the house is good, the restaurant is just downstairs.

We visited with a family of four and a dog, but we had a very comfortable stay for two days.Regardless, the onsen felt very good.There were also weak parents, so I was very grateful to have an indoor hot spring in addition to the open-air bath, and they were both very satisfied. It was also close to sightseeing spots in Shirahama, and we also enjoyed Shirahama Beach and Senjojiki.I'd love to stay again when I'm around.

Great house with quick access to the beach!

It was a stay for 4 adults, but the location was very nice, and we had a very valuable and enjoyable time with BBQ and jacuzzi in the great outdoors!! The road to the accommodation is narrow as the host said, so you need to be careful, but if you're used to driving, you can get through with a regular car without any problems! The cost performance is also great, so I definitely want to stay again! Thank you!
