Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Taito City

I've used AirBnB in a number of countries. My mom also hosts a few AirBnBs at her multi-family unit. I mention this information to suggest I am very familiar with AirBnBs. This apartment is great. We stayed for two weeks (taking a short trip in the middle). Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a 7-Eleven for quick and easy start to the day (or to finish the night). Close to Ueno for Shinkansen/museums/metro. Close to Nezu, too (and Nippori). Host is easy to communicate with. Place is clean. The only thing I would mention is if you are a taller person, just be aware of the ceilings/doorways. I'm a touch over 6ft. Showering will require you to watch your head. Not a negative. Just wanted to mention. Please be respectful if you stay here (and anywhere, honestly). This country deals with a lot of bad tourists. Don't be one of them.

We stayed at this Airbnb, and it was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transportation. The host was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and local recommendations that added to our experience. We highly recommend this Airbnb for families visiting Tokyo and would gladly return in the future!

Katsuo was a very kind and accommodating host. I would definitely stay at his place again, there were so many amazing restaurants near his place and it was not too far from the big attractions and sights.

Absolutely loved the stay. The drinking fountain, balcony, and rooftop were absolute standouts. Loved how much outside noise the balcony doors blocked out. Would absolutely stay here again! Place is definitely kind of far from central Tokyo, but nothing too bad.

Seiji’s apartment is great for 1-2 people to stay in Tokyo, who want to be right next to a subway station that connects to major transit hubs in the city. Seiji has everything you need in the apartment, and the bed is very comfortable& the AC works very well . Do make sure if you’re a light sleeper to bring earplugs as there is a nearby police/fire station, it didn’t impact my sleep as I came prepared.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, & COZY Studio . nice, beautiful and very clean, spacious and comfortable. Very pleasant wake up in the morning and have coffee in the small balcony Great Location ,Walk distance to the restaurants , Bar, Bakery and supermarket , beautiful Area. Kaori & Leo are a great host ,friendly, kind and generous , was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions , Located outside the Main Tourist area , making it peaceful and quit, Yet still very conveniently close to the City Center . Highly Recommend this place , we will staying here again. We had a great Time .

My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had discovered a secret sanctuary tucked away in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. The space was clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly cozy. What really set this place apart was its unbeatable location. Just a short stroll from a Family Mart (a true lifesaver for snacks, drinks, and late-night cravings), and even better—mere minutes from the nearest train station, which made getting around the city an absolute breeze. The host was kind, communicative, and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth and comfortable stay. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the surprisingly high-tech features (like the Aladdin projector!) made it feel like a luxury. Definitely will stay again!

4인 가족이 머물기에 충분히 넓은 공간이었으며, 주방과 욕실 등에 필요한 물건들이 잘 정리되어 있어서 아무런 불편없이 생활할 수 있었습니다. 밤에는 따뜻하고 포근한 잠자리와 조용한 주변환경 덕분에 잘 잘 수 있었구요. 호스트님이 매우 친절하고 세심하게 대응해주신 것도 너무 감사했습니다. 기회가 되면 다시 뵙고 싶습니다. 건강하십시오~~

We had a lovely stay here. It was very close to the subway station and konbini which was very nice. We had no issues during our stay, the neighborhood was peaceful, and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. All in all, would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to our family and friends. Zen’s house was very clean and perfect for our 2 girls age 4 and 2 years old. They loved all the toys and plush animals to play with, also being able to connect to Disney plus was very helpful. The closed doors to the stairwells also made it very child friendly so our children could not go up or down the stairs by themselves. Zen also provided a baby crib that was perfect for our toddler as well. The walk to the subway was very convenient, and a family mart across the street made late night shopping needs easy. We hope to stay again in the future.

My friends and I are so grateful for this wonderful stay. The apartment was located in a lovely neighborhood and was so clean and comfortable. Hong was a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and friendly. There were amenities provided and it was a charming apartment. Highly recommend!

Sakura was responded to questions super fast. The house was clean, right near 711, and near a huge department shop and restaurants. 5 minute walk to the train station and felt like you are a Japanese National walking the streets! Beautiful neighborhood.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was incredibly kind and responsive throughout. The thoughtful touches and amenities made me feel right at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

這是一件非常棒的房子，家裡的孩子不想回家還想多住幾天😆一切器具都很齊全，生活便利，附近走路三分鐘就有24小時超市非常棒，唯一的缺點就是如果給司機地址，他會跑錯地方，最好給接送司機傳送網路即時位置，比較容易找到，但如果是坐地鐵，房東給的說明很詳細，地鐵站走過去不是問題不大，這是一件很棒的房子，東西都很新，非常喜歡

Awesome house in a quiet location. Quick walk to shops and restaurants. House was clean and very spacious for Japan. Easy check in and check out. The mini split A/c is a bit loud upstairs as it’s right above the bed, but it can be managed by just using the one downstairs at bedtime. I highly recommend this listing as it’s easily one of the best Airbnb Ive stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay during our first trip to Tokyo. The location is great, just over a 10-minute walk to Shin-Koiwa Station, with 7-Eleven, supermarket, restaurants and daily goods shops nearby. The host was incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond by picking us up at the station with luggag knowing we were traveling internationally with 3 young kids. The house was clean, modern, quite, spotless and well-equipped. The furniture and appliances are in excellent condition. The kitchen was impressively stocked; not only with cooking essentials, spices, and rice, but also with free milk and bread in refrigerator for kids on the first day! A special touch we loved was the small water bottles filled with fresh green leaves placed around home. It felt calming and welcoming. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a place that truly feels like a home away from home, with a host who genuinely cares about your comfort, this is the place!

Nice walkable place with a lot of convenience store, drug store and restaurants nearby. Easy access from Ikebukuro station, a round 8-10mins walk. The only downside is the unit is at third floor, a bit hard for big luggages, but still acceptable. Overall, Worth the price!

This was a gorgeous stay. We loved being so close to the fun of Shibuya, but in a peaceful neighborhood that was an easy walk (I was in a crutch, so super easy). The apartment was large, comfortable, and that tub was perfect for recovery from all the walking. I especially loved the rooftop balcony for morning coffee, mid day green tea and evening shochu. Host was very responsive and friendly. We really appreciated our stay and it was a great home base for our Tokyo part of the Japan trip.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!

It's a beautiful place. I wish the host was a little bit more flexible with the early check ins and late check outs, but I understand it's something that cannot always be available. Other than that, amazing place.
