great size home for a family weekend together. comfortable space in the living room and kitchen. bedrooms are a good size. and there is beautiful walking all around, very accessible to nice hikes.

We had a fantastic time at Hanna's place. The house is wonderful, a shame that it rained every day, if I had made a little better time we would have taken better advantage of the pool and garden area. Otherwise, everything was great. Hanna's impeccable care. We were all very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta do Rabaçal! The property is peaceful and secluded but had everything we needed—from the most complete gym we’ve seen to a big outdoor BBQ, jacuzzi, and a boathouse with kayaks and SUPs. Kate was a fantastic host—super friendly, welcoming, and always responsive. We stayed with two babies and a toddler, and they had the best time playing with the farm animals and the extremely patient dogs. It was the perfect family-friendly escape. We’ll definitely be coming back and staying longer next time!

Thank you for this absolutely wonderful stay in this little paradise. We found here a haven of tranquility, ideal for resting and recharging. The house is beautiful (decorated with great taste and attention to detail), extremely clean and well-kept, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel truly at home from the first moment. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was also a privilege to be able to share this space with our dog, who loved every corner of the (huge) property and the freedom that the space provides. It's rare to find a place so special, that welcomes our four-legged companion so well and makes us feel at home at the same time. More than just a stay, this experience was a precious break from the routine. We leave here lighter and with the certainty that we want to return. Thank you for everything. The house was adorable, and perfect for people traveling with dogs (the outside is fenced off, so it is perfectly safe). A typical Portuguese house, with everything we might have needed (plenty of spare blankets, towels, utensils, appliances, board games, you name it). The host was impeccable, and when there was an issue with the jacuzzi, she solved it promptly, and even compensated us for the inconvenience gifting us with a late check-out. There isn't much to do around, but the scenery is breathtaking. We really loved soaking in the jacuzzi in a cold winter night looking up at the starry sky. Highly recommend!

This was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences I have ever had. The accommodation was perfect for me and the rate included an incredible breakfast I could have at the time of my choice. Additionally, the host was super kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at Ricardo’s place and felt very welcome with all the lovely hosting touches and attention to details. Ricardo was responsive to us; nothing was too much trouble. We were travelling with our pets in the height of summer and the air-conditioning and cool stone walls of the listing were perfect for our needs, as was the relaxing pool area. The breakfasts are delicious and full of variety. We really liked that an option of plant milks was served as well as local products. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.

The stay was excellent. We count from the first moment with the precious help of the host to get to the place. Upon arrival, youput us at ease in the residence. Since we didn't know the region, it also helped us with the main points to get to know. Regarding the stay, the accommodation exceeded expectations. With a wonderful view and visibly renovated facilities, it was definitely a good choice!

We had a very nice stay in Folhadosa. The house and garden are very well maintained. Every morning there was a very lovingly prepared breakfast. The Serra with its beautiful landscape is a short drive away. All in all a very loving and beautiful place to spend a few days of your vacation.

The Solar dos Alperces is a beautifully renovated historical house, with all the modern upgrades required to enjoy the rural area close to Serra da Estrela. The rooms and living spaces are well decorated, cared for, and comfortable, and the rooms are always warm which is important in the winter. Sergio is truly a super host! He’s polite, cheerful and is always available to help out, suggest places to visit and to eat, and to share a story. The fact that he lives on the property contributes to a great overall experience. Travancinha is a great “base” to visit the nearby mountains and trekking trails, and the house is a wonderful place to retire to in the evenings and relax and share stories.
