Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Sleeping 11, the Quinta has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a fully furnished living area, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a private dining and outdoor BBQ area with charcoal grill and pizza oven, a terrace with a spectacular view of the river and forest and an outdoor pool (shared).

Authentically renovated village house

Our authentically renovated, stone village house is located in the quiet and friendly village of Andorinha in Central Portugal. We created a modern space with as much comfort as possible yet keeping the eccentricity of the house. Make sure you take advantage of the wood burning hot tub and enjoy a few hours soaking, while sipping on a nice glass of wine. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: The downstairs large bedroom is accessed externally through the front courtyard NOT from inside the house.

Our child friendly rural retreat has plenty of room to roam, relax and play! Just a few minutes from Tabua town you can access shops, restaurants and facilities with ease. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

It has a spectacular view of the Mondego River and plenty of sun exposure. It also has a fantastic garden space suitable for events and families.
