The cabin is located in total privacy within the oak forest on the side of a mountain on our territory- a green valley and springs from water between two small streams that come together with the Elbe River. The grounds also have a large natural pool where you can take a dip. Within easy walking distance in the woods /short drive is the wild Uratigal beach and other neat beaches along the river

Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

A beautiful accommodation, right on the river where you can enjoy hiking and enjoy the tranquility of nature. There is plenty for children to do, such as swinging, sledding, trampoline jumping, canoeing and of course swimming! On the premises, there are 3 enthusiastic, friendly dogs, cats and chickens. The driveway of the property is unpaved and bumpy, but fine to do with a regular car.
