Monthly Rentals in Sweet Springs

Another wonderful Christmas week vacation at your cabin. The hot water was endless, the Christmas tree and decorations were awesome again, and we really loved the security gate at the base of the mountain road going up to your property! we cooked a standing rib roast with all the trimmings! we also hiked at the Raptor Observatory and around the property roads. Every morning and evening we saw between 7-14 turkey and/or deer! we liked the new trash shed out back as well....plenty of room and clean as always! This is our favorite cabin in WV; in the fall you were booked and we stayed elsewhere and it was nice, but your property is more to our liking due to all the privacy and peace and quiet. We will soon be booking for our spring/summer trip and we plan to bring our mountain bikes and do some riding. Thanks again Tammy and Benny for making our holiday! Happy New Year!

The only thing that bothered me is the outrageous “cleaning fee” that you pay no matter if you leave the place clean or not. It’s ridiculous that I’m paying an extra 125 dollars and still have to clean anything

We absolutely loved this place! I was on the way to Myrtle Beach with my children, and this was a great place to stop. A little off the beaten path, but kids need those experiences these days. I’m just sad we were only able to stay for a night. The place was immaculate and the game room was super cool. I didn’t get a lot of sleep because my teenagers were having so much fun. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Side note: there is a little barn store/gas station very nearby. Cash only and super friendly locals hanging out. Thank you for sharing your hidden gem with us!

Our stay at Teressa and Barry’s Cabin on the Creek was far beyond 5 stars - truly exceptional in every way. From the start, the hosts were outstanding. Their attention to detail, thoughtful amenities, and warm communication made us feel completely taken care of. The setting is nothing short of magical. Wildflowers like dainty Quaker ladies, vibrant red columbine, and star chickweed brought bursts of color to the landscape. The sounds of chirping birds and playful beavers in Potts Creek created a peaceful, nature-filled soundtrack. Add in the sweet scent of blooming autumn olive and the gentle touch of a spring breeze and sunshine... it was a full sensory experience. This was our second stay here, and it only confirmed what we already knew: this place is special. We can’t wait to return again. Highly, highly recommend!
