Monthly Rentals in Swans Island

My family and I had an awesome time at the cottage on Swan’s Island. Kyle’s instructions were super detailed and helpful, and he was extremely responsive. The cottage is sweet and simple, and the natural surroundings are just unparalleled. We spent a lot of time on the beach. Turns out our three yr old LOVES ROCKS 😝 The island overall is really charming. We also had an excellent time hiking through the mossy forest and running around on the fine sand beach. We even got in the water despite the cold. Bought some lobsters from the fisherman’s co-op and they were delicious. One tip is that you might need more firewood than you think if it’s late spring! We should’ve brought maybe one or two more bundles, but now we know…we’re almost certainly coming back!

The pictures just do not do Todd’s place justice! Stunning, private location with a distant view of Acadia, absolutely wonderful and unique layout with multiple decks and views out of every window, had everything we could have possibly wanted for our family vacation with our two dogs and kids. Popcorn maker and waffle maker with supplies provided at the house to make both were the cherries on top of a wonderful stay. If it’s available, book immediately.

Awesome house with fantastic views! The 5 of us girls had the best girls weekend ever. We had plenty of room, this house is very comfy and clean, and the hot tub and sauna were a plus. The ferry is so close you can walk to it. We would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a private, quiet and peaceful retreat- you've found it! As if Swan's Island isn't remote enough, Scott's cottage is down a long, private drive on it's own secluded cove. The cottage has some awesome upgrades including Wifi and great linens and is immaculately clean. Scott is a friendly, communicative host- we've stayed several times and will absolutely be back!
