A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Latham blueberry farm. Doug and Brenda were incredibly helpful and friendly- they introduced us to the house and farm as soon as we checked in and were always available if needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchenette stocked, and the grounds were gorgeous. Their beautiful 1826 farm house was an authentic experience of staying on a farm- our kids loved feeding the animals (especially Ernie the pig and Moses the horse); picking fresh blueberries; and swimming and paddleboating in the private pond. Our hosts had great recommendations for local outings, and we loved chatting with them and playing with their puppy Jackie. Our family made lifetime memories.

We loved our time at Dwayne and Patti’s place! It definitely felt like a home rather than a hotel, which is exactly what we want when we book an Airbnb over a hotel. The musical instruments and hot tub were a hit with our group :) The location is amazing, close to both Bar Harbor (Acadia) and Bangor. We got to go to a concert and hiking during our stay, and we loved returning to our home base. I can’t want to be back!!

great stay for a relaxing weekend trip. perfect house for chilling but still drivable to Acadia. well stocked on the essentials, linens, and stunning views! host very responsive as well.

This place is so lovely and peaceful. We loved the water view from the loft and roaming the beach. It is a great spot.

What an awesome place to stay! Lori was incredibly gracious and accommodating with out late arrival. The cabin towards the back of the property was so cozy. Fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

We loved our stay. We visited mostly for our trip to Acadia, so we did a lot of back and forth driving, but our stay at Treetop was peaceful and perfect for our needs. We love the quiet and the beautiful view. The trail connected to the property was a huge bonus—our pup loved it! Suzanne was very helpful, detailed, and responsive. We appreciated her guidance!

I wrote this while on GCI! Enjoy! The Winds changed without a word. The Wind changed and so did the temperature down seven degrees. It had been so quiet. It had taken a little time to get used to the silence once we arrived on the island. Eventually the silence was replaced by a constant easterly wind as the September temperature reminded me that summer here was wanning. Fall begins today, right on que and even though I felt in isolation I did not feel alone, as the winds, for sure, were making sounds like peoples chatter and for a moment I had to turn my head and listen to make sense of the mystery and the wonder I've experienced through mother nature. We are a family of five with three teens. The space was perfect for us to all hang out together and play a board game at the dining table, as well as spread out and have plenty of down time in our own rooms. I thought it was a nice touch that the front door was open and the keys were in the kitchen. Great to have bathrooms in each of the rooms. When we were planning our trip, we weren't 100 percent sure if our pet care person was going to be available, and Sarah was very responsive and flexible with us asking if we could add our dogs at the last minute. We didn't need to bring them, but it was so helpful to know that we could. We bot a huge box of pastries from Clark Point Cafe, and we would have gone back and sat down for a full breakfast if they had been open on our second morning. I guess that gives us an excuse to come back! The back yard view is private and beautiful. So much to like about our stay. Hard to fit it all in here. Thanks to Sarah and her family for everything.

Cute place with everything we needed. Very peaceful and private location but close enough to Bar Harbor and hiking trails in the park. All in all, perfect for our needs.

We had an amazing stay at Jason’s place despite a (mostly) rainy Memorial Day weekend! We still found plenty to do including inside the Airbnb, outside at the pond, and locally at all of the great restaurants/breweries/nature around. We also made it out to Acadia two of our days. I will say, the trip took longer than advertised (about an hour to get to the edge of the park), but was a pleasant enough ride. We also had our two dogs staying with us and we all felt right at home! Jason was a very responsive and helpful host as well - you can’t go wrong with this peaceful retreat on the pond!

Katy's Cottage was a great place to stay and explore Little Deer Isle, Deer Isle, and the Blue Hill Peninsula. It was a great space to relax, hike, and explore Downeast Maine. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we had several great family meals with locally sourced seafood. We had a wonderful time staying here!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location! Beth was wonderful to deal with and very communicative. She kept in touch with us prior to our trip, and she patiently answered any questions we had during the trip. The views from the patio and living room are fantastic, and the area is very quiet. Both the Park and Bar Harbor are a short drive a way. This is a great place to stay on a trip to Bar Harbor.

Cannot imagine a better spot to relax with our family. A lucky spot for the owners and luckier for us that they share the rental with strangers.

Valerie's home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood peaceful stay

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

Aimee was wonderful to deal with. Her place was absolutely beautiful. we definitely picked the right place. the sunrises were so awesome. Rockland was a gorgeous little town.

We found the home clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the back deck very much. The kitchen was well equipped and although we did not do any cooking, if we had, everything was there for us. We really liked how private the home was. Had the weather been warmer we definitely would have checked out the pool. It is also very close to Thomaston, Rockland and Owls Head. So much to do in this area. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet retreat in Maine that is close to the coast.

Great unit on the golf. Course with Ocean views out to the islands. Generally peaceful, save for the morning mowing of the golf course. Great place to base to see all of the mid-coast and the Samoset hotel amenities that are available to you are first class

My husband and I loved our stay at the Shore Cottage! The cottage was nicely laid out and very clean. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The view from the cottage is amazing. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!
