Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

Fullt utrustad stuga där du kan elda i kaminen inne eller tända en brasa vid grillplatsen som ligger ostört från andra grannar. För största naturupplevelsen kan ni nyttja båten som ingår. Den eldrivna motorn gör att du kan glida fram ljudlöst genom de lummiga kanalerna precis runt hörnet. 10 min från shoppingcenter.

Siden det er veldig langgrunt kan vannet til tider komme både nærmere og lenger fra hytta enn på bildene. Det er mange muligheter for turer i skog og mark i nærområdet. THE VIEW & being right on the fjord. Our family enjoyed every minute in Thori’s cabane. The row boat, the terrace by the lake and the tiny cabane were fantastic. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. Comfort of the beds could be improved. Car is mandatory to stay there. Thori and her husband were discreet hosts and always available if needed.

The cabin is so lovely that we wished we had a hard time going back home :) Beatiful views from all of the windows and great interior design. Huge smart TV and a lovely fireplace to chilli in the evening! I had the impression that the house is actually twice as big as on the pictures. Breakfasts in the dining room with views of the lake and Dilingoya island will stay forever in our memories. The only minor downside is that the wardrobes in the main bedroom were not entirely available, as there were lots of lifevests etc. inside, but we didn't have much stuff anyways, so it was not a problem for us at all :)

virkelig en unik og minnerik opplevelse. Stedet var nydelig – omgitt av natur, med store vinduer som slapp inn masse naturlig lys. Boblebadet og saunaen var store høydepunkt for oss, spesielt på kvelden da vi kunne slappe helt av og nyte stillheten. Alt var rent og godt tilrettelagt da vi kom, og verten var hyggelig og lett å kommunisere med. Vi følte oss veldig velkomne. Jeg kan varmt anbefale dette stedet til alle som vil ha en rolig, komfortabel og litt annerledes getaway. Vi var veldig fornøyde og kommer gjerne tilbake! 😊
