Beautiful home! Spacious and clean, perfect for my group of 5. The plentiful decor was tasteful and living room is cozy with large couch. Location was quiet and private, conveniently near a Bonus, and close to major highways. The space is well stocked: Whether you need laundry related products, extra pasta sauce, quality coffee machine, etc you can find it. Would highly recommend for a cozy stay, truly like a home away from home.

La sistemazione e’ stata quanto di meglio potessimo aspettarci. La casa consente di ospitare 7/8 persone in un ambiente accogliente, caldo e ben arredato, con una cucina fornitissima di tutto quello che può servire. Due bei bagni con doccia molto puliti e forniti di molti asciugamani. La titolare è stata molto premurosa nel contattarci per fornirci in anticipo tutte le indicazioni utili e molti suggerimenti su quanto poteva offrire il circondario. Selfoss e’ un’ottima base per visitare la parte sud dell’Islanda e la casa e’ in una zona tranquilla, qualche kilometro fuori città, attigua ad un allevamento di cavalli, ma allo stesso tempo molto comoda a tutti i servizi utili per gli approvvigionamenti quotidiani. L’esperienza vissuta è stata eccellente.

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Logement très confortable sur Selfoss. La décoration est soignée, tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente bien, la literie est parfaite. Bon emplacement pour les visites du Sud/Sud-Ouest de l’Islande.

Jette’s house is ideally located to get into Reykjavík and to get out into the absolutely stunning countryside. Located just of the motorway But well soundproofed and superbly insulated you certainly won’t get cold. Jette stayed in contact just enough but felt approachable at the same time. Plenty of grocery shops around so you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. By car it takes about 5-10 mins to get into the old town. Have fun.

We had a lovely stay in Helga's cozy cabin. She was extremely responsive and provided highly detailed instructions. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. Highly recommend booking Helga's cabin!

The barn house was beautifully built and decorated with spectacular views. The skylight windows were perfect for watching for the northern lights. The kitchen had all the basics and some extras like a nespresso machine and pods. We enjoyed cooking there and using the hot tub. The washer and dryer were super helpful. It was a great launching place for the Golden Circle. Stokkseyri is a cute little town with a great local pool. The turf house across the street was fun to explore as was the beach on the other side of the turf wall. It is very near Bakkahestar for highly recommended Icelandic horse rides with a local couple on the beach in Eyrarbakki. Nearby Selfoss has anything you need including an amazing fish market Fiskbud Suderlands for great prices on fresh caught local fish. Kristinn was very responsive and we loved our stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was ample for our family of five, allowing everyone to have their own room and privacy. The included parking was a huge plus, especially in a city where parking can be a challenge. Our host was very welcoming upon arrival, making us feel at home right away. The only minor drawbacks were that check-in felt a bit lengthy after a long flight, and a few appliances could use some upgrades—our toaster worked inconsistently, the coffee machine's water compartment leaked, and we had some initial confusion with the dishwasher. That said, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. The home was comfortable, well-located, and well-suited for a family. We would highly recommend it!

Très moderne et spacieux, canapé lit pas très grand pour deux adultes mais ça fait très bien l'affaire pour un séjour de courte durée.

L'alloggio di Nina è molto bello. Gli spazi sono ampi e luminosi con una bellissima vista sulla città e il mare. Il centro città si raggiunge a piedi facilmente e vicino ci sono vari supermercati. L'arredamento ha gusto e personalità e ci si sente come a casa. Letti comodi, bagno pulito e funzionale. La cucina è abbastanza completa, anche se manca qualche posata e piatti aggiuntivi. Ci sono vari elettrodomestici e caffettiere per preparare vari tipi di caffè. Il divano del soggiorno è comodo e rilassante. Spazi perfetti per quattro persone. Nina è sempre stata reattiva e disponibile. Grazie!

Les + : Studio bien rangé et décoré, disposant d'une TV (anglais et islandais uniquement), WIFI sans coupure, frigo, four avec plats et plaque, bouilloire, cafetière, assez de vaisselle pour 2 ou 3. Très bon chauffage. Facile a trouver. Arrivée flexible : 8h du matin et départ à 2h30 dans la nuit. Proche de tout le centre à pied (30' musée Perlan, 8' départ bus de tourisme, 12' de l'église). Magasin BONUS en haut de la rue (meilleur prix) Très calme, vue du balcon sur l'arrière (autres bâtiments et poubelles) Salle d'eau bien fournie Les - : Nous avons été logé dans un studio (coté nuit individualisé par un petit mur et des rideaux) à la place de l'appartement avec une chambre avec une porte de séparation. Ce qui est différent car on entend le frigo et on a l'odeur de la cuisine dans la partie nuit. 1 étage sans ascenseur Laverie au sous sol, commune Porte de douche comportant des moisissures Eau à l'odeur d'oeuf/souffre (mais ce doit être partout pareil à cause de la géothermie)

Lovely place. Easy to park our motorvan for free right out front as long as we didn’t stay out too late. Easy walk to the main areas.

Really interesting apartment, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very accessible location and good to be able to park the car in the driveway. An added bonus was the toys that had been left for the baby to play with - a very thoughtful touch. Unfortunately we could only stay one night - highly recommended and would stay again.

Me and my friends loved Viktor’s place. Great location; within 15 minutes from Reykjavík. Very clean space. Viktor and his family were extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely worth the stay!

Really lovely place with a view of the sea, large grocery store around the corner and great location. We were picked up by Flybus back to KEF at the hotel 1/2 block away. Willi was very quick to respond to any questions and if you like Thai food, don’t miss nearby Banthai Restaurant

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach ein Traum, schick und modern eingerichtet, alles was man braucht ist da. Es war sauber und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist natürlich ein Highlight, welches wir jeden Morgen beim Frühstücken genossen haben. Wir würden wieder kommen :)

Nagyon köszönjük a csodálatos szállást, felülmúlta a várakozásainkat, tiszta, barátságos, csendes, mindennel felszerelt! Mintha otthon lettünk volna! Nagyszerű kiinduló pont volt a sok látnivalóhoz, amit meg szerettünk volna nézni! Hálásan köszönjük!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

We have a lovely time in this apartment. It was extremely comfortable and such a great location. Considering how central it is, it was so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay in Selfoss. The condo is tucked into a complex of sorts. There is a playground very close which was great for our kids. The condo was very cozy, clean and comfortable. We were out sightseeing most of our time and this was a great “home base”. Not much to see right around the condo but that didn’t bother us. The condo had everything we needed and more. Thanks for a great stay!!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

We loved our stay. Hosts were quick and helpful in their responses. They left us some chocolates and champagne for our anniversary. The space was clean and more spacious than we originally thought, private and we felt right at home. My wife was sad we left! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
