Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sveitarfélagið Hornafjörður

The directions to the house and check in were very easy. The house was exactly what I expected for the price. It's basic, but clean and tidy. Our party rented the full property which worked well for us. There is ample parking for more than one vehicle.

The home was beautiful and clean, in a close proximity to Hofn. It had a really gorgeous sunroom to enjoy and was in a peaceful location. We would not hesitate come again!

Very lovely and warm place

Very nice house, welcoming and very well equipped. There were 5 of us, and for this price, 3 bedrooms would have been welcome. We had a lovely stay, and the house is ideally located for visiting the area.

5 star hosts. You are renting there actual house and they welcome you in like family. They were very responsive and provided information on Hofn as well as house details. We were so tired after all our hiking we simply showered and went to bed. We did however do a few loads of laundry. Would definitely recommend to a friends coming to Hofn.

Great BnB with all the utilities for a family of 4. The bedrooms are little tight, but it was functional considering the location.

Somewhat of a unique apartment as it's at the end of a retail building, but great location across the street from Netto grocery and walkable to restaurants. Nice, quiet community/harbor town. Unit was very clean with the basics (beds, table & 4 chairs). Overall the unit worked well for our purpose as we we were exploring during the day, out to dinner in the evenings and used it primarily for sleeping/showering. We were without hot water our first night due to an area wide outage (out of host control) but luckily service was restored by the morning. Definitely recommend the attached shop which has knitted wool & other items handmade by locals.

The house is clean and warm and displayed with many cuddly toys. The owners and the puppy are very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. One night we went out without keys and the door was accidentally closed so we went to the owner’s house and asked for help. The owner was kind to us and gave us the spare key even it was already 11pm. Recommend to stay and enjoy the farm-style house😍

This place was perfect for our one night in Höfn. Bed was confortable, kitchen was nice to have, parking was easy, and place was located right down the street from a few restaurants. The exterior of the place had me a little worried when we drove up, but the inside was really nice.

Clean and very cozy apartment and a great host.

The space was impeccably clean and just as pictured. It was easy to find and the location worked well for our trip. We only spent one night but with 4 adults, that was good. The only negative about this space is how small it is.

Wonderful location and very clean with everything we would need. Very helpful to have the washer and dryer. Very comfortable befs. We got a little lost in finding the unit but host was very prompt and helpful. Great location to see everything in the area.

The space was bright and open and thoughtfully separated from the other units for maximum privacy.

Great place to stay in Höfn! We stayed here mostly to be closer for our ice cave trip (roughly 1 hour drive) but the area around Höfn is worthwhile as well. The accomodation had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the functioning kitchen. The bathroom takes a bit getting used to as the sink is small and oddly placed. But workable :) All in all would stay here again if we are in the area.
