Jökla Gisting is located in a quiet place surrounded by glaciers and beautiful nature, 11 km from Höfn. In winter, the air and colors are incredibly crisp, and the Northern Lights are a common sight in the area. We offer accommodation in three houses that are fully equipped with everything guests need. Wild reindeer sometimes visit and roam in the peaceful nature nearby. The glacier attracts people, and there are various glacier tours available nearby. Sledding, hiking, and ice cave tours are popular.

At the heart of Vatnajökull National Park, and only a short drive from the world famous Glacier lagoon,Jökulsárlón (28km) is Neðribær apartment. Neðribær is in a 2 apartment house with private entrance. Many activities in the area such as snowmobiling, glacier jeeps and glacier walk adventure on Europe´s largest glacier, kayaking, puffins tours, boat tours, ice cave tours (winter) and horseback riding. Birkifell winter cabin

A small and cozy cabin in the quiet of the countryside, just under a mountain with a beautiful glacier as it's neighbor. With two bedrooms, one double bed and two single beds, dining and sitting area, with t.v and free wifi, well equipt kitchen. Large patio with outdoor furniture and bbq. Ideal for a quiet holiday in the countryside with beautiful hiking grounds, a geothermal hot tubs a short walk away and nature all around, and spectacular view of the northen lights during winter.

Cosy 3-bedroom cottage with stunning views

Our summer house is located in a magnificent area, in the Vatnajökull National Park, just 100 m from the Ring Road. Views of the surrounding mountains can be enjoyed from the summerhouse. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, one of the biggest tourist attractions in Iceland, is only 40 km away. Another attraction include Heinabergsjökull, an exquisitely beautiful lagoon which is less touristy than Jökulsárlón. Vestrahorn mountain, close by Höfn, have a beauty which is breathtaking.

Haukaberg House

Our house is located in a quiet residential area, a cozy and bright house made from wood. We offer comfortable beds and quality bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped and you should be able to find everything you need. In our area you can find guided glacier and riding tours. You could visit Vestrahorn and go to the Hot tubs in Hoffell. Other fascinating places that we recommend are Fláajökull, Heinabergsjökull and Hoffellsjökull. Suitable for big groups / families.
