The room was a described with a separate entrance and private bathroom. It was clean and good enough for 3 adults. It was easy to find, even though it is close to the highway #1,it was very quiet and private. Anairda’s advice were useful and we appreciated a kettle that she left for us per our response. The house is close to the hikes and sightseeing areas. I’d highly recommend to rent this place and would definitely come back if I have a chance to visit this beautiful country. We loved this stay. Each room has a huge window to look out into the mountains and has a window on the roof to see the sky.

We saw auroras from the house!!! 🤩 The House was super comfortable. Perfect for after glaciar tours . Had all the necessary items in the Kitchen. Amazing, I highly recommend!!

It was a satisfactory accommodation. There was a slight issue at check-in, but he kindly resolved it right away. It was a dark night, and I had a hard time communicating because I didn't speak English well, but he was kind. Keep in mind that it's a shared kitchen. The surrounding landscape was so beautiful that I didn't want to check out in the morning. There was a really nice dog, so playing with the kid in front of the accommodation became a good memory. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Elin's 'my tiny beloved home'. The home was tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, with every comfort considered. Truly a cozy and welcoming space—highly recommended

If you're looking for a serene place to stay in the southeastern region of Iceland, this cabin is perfect. It's in a peaceful, remote location surrounded by nature—exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like our own little hideaway. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive. We requested an extra blanket and sheet, and they provided them right away, which we really appreciated. The cabin is also just a 15-minute drive from Höfn, where you'll find a large supermarket and a few great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

Eythor was very proactive and sincere in letting us know about potentially dangerous weather as we were heading to the area. We stayed in cabin 6 which was at the end, very private, and peaceful as we road out the wind storm. The bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean and had extra amenities. Beware of the shower head: it will give you a rude awakening if you're not careful, which is exactly what I needed this morning :). This place may have the best water pressure ever! We highly recommend staying here.
