Excellent place to stay, right in the middle of a really nice historical district. Japanese-style room, comfortable futons, shower room, kitchen, etc. Most older Japanese buildings lack insulation, but this one was nice and warm.

The house was larger than I thought, cleaner than it looked in the photos, and more user-friendly, and the cleaning service was impeccable.The host asked about our requests in advance and responded to them, which was very touching.The host was very attentive and the hospitality was heartfelt. There is no better host and home.I was very satisfied.Thank you very much!

Clean house, easy to get around, quiet, nice landlord, good advice. Close to tourist attractions in the city. Good value for your stay.

It was an amazing experience. In two months of travelling Japan, being in a small village felt the most authentic. If you’d like authentic travel experiences, and meeting locals, here is a great place. The house is also an amazing to experience living in. Very unique for a non-Japanese person! I intend to return again.
