The building is made of natural materials such as plaster walls, rice husk floors, and bedrooms made of Hinoki wood from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. In winter, you can use the wood stove. Special acoustic wooden speakers let you listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the fields of the June Farm, where we grow pesticide-free vegetables. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

This guesthouse is a renovated 120-year-old traditional Japanese house located in the merchant town of Omi Hino, overlooking Mt. Watamuki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, with the concept of "nostalgic yet new." The townscape of Hino itself is somehow nostalgic and calming.
