Vacation rentals with a patio in Sunderland

This was a lovely stay, it was perfect size for 1-2 people on a long term stay, walking distance of Roker Park and the beachfront. It was also convenient walking to Stadium of Light. Easy access to convenient stores, large Tesco and bus stop at the end of street for those not wanting to walk.

Anjumunara’s place is very well located to quick and easy access to Newcastle City Centre both by car and Metro, and also the A1 and A69 for access to the wider Northumberland area. On arrival check in was easy, and having off street parking right outside the annex was excellent. We experienced no noise at all during our stay and the area is very quiet. Everything inside was as described and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need and we found the bed very comfy. We enjoyed a lovely stay in Newcastle thanks to Anjumunara’s place.

We had a super stay at Laura's place. A quiet area with easy access to town. Laura was a great host, excellent communication and local advice. Pet friendly and highly recommended.

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Just enjoyed a lovely, family ,long weekend at Stephen and Bevs beautiful caravan. Bev was super helpful from start to finish . When the site electricity went off for a little while Stephen and Bev were on the doorstep super quickly to help and brought us a torch just incase. This weekend was very hot and they also brought us a fan as we had our young granddaughters with us. Can highly reccomend this caravan as we all decided it was the cleanest and was the best stocked place we have visited. We didnt really go very far as we had the beach on our doorstep so cannot rate the site facilities except for a well stocked shop and a tasty fish and chips van.

This was a lovely stay! The house was cozy and very clean, easy to find, clear instructions for everything, & had everything that we could have needed during our stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. We had a problem with the heater but they came and helped us out the next day directly! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay :)

We had a great time here at Sootybabe, It was exactly as pictured with easy entry and access. Clean and comfortable with all that's needed for a place between exploring. Blackhall Colliery had an awesome beach just 10 mins walk away and we enjoyed our time in the Hartlepool area. Durham was picturesque and the cathedral was spectacular and a true architectural marvel. Good food and beach in Sunderland. Could've spent several more days just exploring Newcastle very friendly and lively. Bamburgh Castle was magnificent and is a must visit for all those interested in British history and the Last Kingdom TV Series Exhibition is awesome for anyone who is a fan. We enjoyed our stay in the cottage, it was a great space and we had everything we needed. It was lovely to have the lights on to welcome us and some very sweet Christmas touches, which were beyond what we expected. I should have gotten in touch with Rita re directions for the place as they don't come through. The postcode leads you to the right place, but it wasn't clear when we got there... But that was my fault. The space was great, a very cosy place to stay and relax in and really accessible (by car) for walks and getting to Durham. I had 4 teens with me and we all loved it. The beds were very comfy and the decor and linens were really nice too. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay! 😊

This was our first Airbnb experience and we have to say that the bar has been set very high. Our host Trevor was lovely, the area beautiful and interesting, and the accommodation excellent. There were plenty of great walks within an easy drive and it wasn’t overcrowded which made it all the more pleasant. Although the accommodation is great, it is worth being aware that the stairs to the bedroom may present challenges for some people, but if you think you can manage them, you will love this property. There are different options for heating, constant hot water and the kitchen has everything you need. The four legged neighbours are also friendly, if hungry; and my guide dog very much appreciated the lovely dog bed, fleecy blanket and flashing toy! Thank you so much Trevor, it would be lovely to be able to return in the future if we can manage it.

Lucy made me and my two sons Joshua and Oliver feel right at home in her cute pink house in Durham. From the welcome to the pink house chalkboard, to the friendly and responsive instructions, we felt like we were in a 'home away from home'. The Pink House is within walking distance to picturesque Durham and the magnificent Durham Cathedral. We highly recommend this place to stay.

Great stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfy and Jane was a great host and really helpful!

Very spacious, well decorated, comfy beds, lining and towels. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Very near Durham and lots of natural areas around. Donna was always very responsive and kind. Would definitely return!

We're back from a one night stay at Stephen's place. The house was clean, modern, well maintained and homely. Stephen was good at communicating with us. We certainly recommend this house and would stay again.

Steve’s place was quaint yet modern. The furnishings and lights were beautiful. The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable. The water pressure was amazing and it was close to the restaurants we went to eat at. Would def stay again were we to be in that area.

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. This is a really lovely flat, located directly in front of Cullercoats bay. The view out of the living room bay window in the morning is absolutely fabulous. The flat feels really spacious, with two double rooms and a single. One of the double rooms is located downstairs from the main part of the flat (so at lower ground floor level), and the other is at the rear and has the en-suite. All the rooms felt nice and big and the whole place was lovely and clean. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything we needed during our stay. It's very easy to find the place, with a lockbox containing the key. Parking is available right outside, with a parking permit provided with the house. There are loads of interesting places to explore in the local area, and the beaches at Cullercoats, Longsands and Whitley Bay are great to play on. We wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again if it's available when we next visit Tynemouth.

Needed a nice break from a stressful period with work and family. We settled in a short break in Cullercoats, knowing little to nothing about the area except for the long beach walks. Cullercoats, Whitely Bay and Tynemouth were all exactly as we'd hoped. And all in a nice circular walk. By luck, baking hot sunshine too as a bonus. But it was Katie that made everything click. Superb host, very welcoming and super attentive. We were short of nothing, and the recommendations for eating and drinking out were spot on. Hyem was a gem of a find and a really cool relaxing place. Couldn't recommend host, property and location any more. Top marks Katie 👌

Sarah was very easy to contact with any questions and gave us good advice with things to do locally. The location is quite and peaceful but within a 5 minute drive you can be close to shops, restaurants etc should you wish. The bed was sooo comfy. I would definitely stay again. 1 thing I would suggest is to read the instructions on how to get there provided by Sarah. I didn't until I got lost, then followed them exactly and took me right to the door 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
